On March 7, GAC Toyota announced its latest sales figures, with sales of 50,100 units in February, up 21.7% year-on-year and down 49.85% month-on-month, setting a new record for the highest sales in February of the calendar year; cumulative sales from January to February reached 150,000 units, an increase of 14.5% year-on-year. With the promotion of the electrification strategy and the popularization of dual engine technology, hybrid models also ushered in an outbreak in February, with sales of 16,024 units, a year-on-year surge of 128.6%, accounting for 30.2% of sales.

Among the popular models, the Camry sold 14,228 units in February, up 64% year-on-year; the Highlander sold 7,115 units, up 12.7% year-on-year; the Xena sold 4,120 units in February; and the Fenglanda, which has just been on the market for two months, is also favored by the market, with cumulative orders reaching 11,000 units.
In 2021, GAC Toyota achieved a sales record of 840,000 vehicles, achieving positive growth for five consecutive years. Judging from the performance of the first two months of the year, after completing the enrichment of the product matrix and the full coverage of the segmentation field last year, the incremental potential of GAC Toyota is being further released, and it is expected to successfully impact the goal of annual sales of one million vehicles.
