Immediately embarking on the construction of an ecosystem with China's intelligent car operating system as the core has become an urgent need to build an automobile powerhouse. During the two sessions of the National People's Congress in 2022, Fang Yunzhou, a deputy to the National People's Congress and the founder and chairman of Nezha Automobile, shared his views on this.
In recent years, in the process of rapid development, the mainland automobile industry has basically built a system framework of policies, regulations, technical standards and product safety for new energy and intelligent networked vehicles. At the same time, the company has also established a relatively complete intelligent vehicle independent research and development system, production supporting system and some core intelligent technology research and development system
As the development of the industry further moves towards strategic depth, it is urgent to immediately start the ecological construction with China's intelligent vehicle operating system as the core. "We must realize that it is not easy to master it, it is difficult for a single enterprise to completely overcome it, and it requires the cohesion of all parties in the industrial chain to solve it in a joint way to create an ecology." Fang Yunzhou said.
Fang Yunzhou believes that intelligent networked vehicles are profoundly changing the development mode and industrial chain structure of automobiles, and even changing the way of life and social and economic structure of human beings. In the era of "software-defined automobiles", the development and application of automotive operating systems is a necessary move to build an automotive powerhouse. "Without an operating system, a smartphone is a 'brick'. In the same way, without an operating system, the beautiful vision of developing smart cars cannot be realized. ”
Fang Yunzhou stressed that the intelligent car operating system is not a single technical point, it needs the combination of the underlying logic and the upper layer architecture of the country and industry, the need for an architectural ecology based on the underlying operating system of the automobile, and the need to establish a complete ecosystem from the application ecology, value chain ecology, technology ecology, tool chain and standards.
To this end, Fang Yunzhou suggested organizing the construction of a "national team" to encourage and coordinate the healthy and orderly development of China's automotive operating system industry chain by formulating the development program and industry standards of China's automotive operating system; strengthening key technologies such as the operating system kernel; forming an ecological organization led by national ministries and commissions; and cultivating operating system software-related talents.
Today's world is in a century of unprecedented changes, a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change in depth development, electrification, intelligence, networking is accelerating the reconstruction of the century-old automobile industry, becoming a new opportunity for the development of the mainland automobile industry. In 2021, the mainland automobile market has made a good start for the "14th Five-Year Plan" automobile industry, and in this context, Chinese car companies should strengthen themselves and preemptively build a competitive advantage in the field of intelligent and connected vehicles.
