Wang Wei, a deputy to the National People's Congress and chairman of the Chinese Archaeological Society, mentioned that the long-standing Chinese civilization is very proud.
"However, many important archaeological discoveries and research results, as well as the rich and colorful Chinese excellent traditional culture, are still at the academic level, and there is still a certain distance from being well known, and they have not played their due role in enhancing cultural self-confidence and national cohesion." Wang Wei said regretfully.
Wang Wei believes, "At present, many Chinese teenagers are obsessed with Western culture, and in the past decade, large-scale amusement parks in the United States have become popular in the Chinese market, which also represents the infiltration of a Western culture, which makes people who love China's excellent traditional culture very worried." ”
In order to change this situation and give full play to the advantages of China's excellent traditional culture, Wang Wei suggested that the construction of a Chinese civilization theme park in the national center city should be further innovated in communication methods, so that cultural relics can be "alive" and Chinese stories can be told well.
"During the '14th Five-Year Plan' period, it is recommended to choose an economically developed and convenient transportation city to build a theme park of Chinese civilization, such as Zhengzhou. The theme park can use AR, VR and other digital technologies to show ancient Chinese myths and legends, the rich and colorful food, clothing, shelter, and transportation of the Chinese ancestors, inventions and creations, the various representative scenes of the formation period of regional civilization and various ancient dynasties, the brilliant achievements and contributions of Chinese civilization, as well as exchanges with other civilizations, so that young people across the country and even the world can experience and spread the profound and brilliant Chinese civilization in their play. Wang Wei said.
"With regard to the construction of theme parks, they can be jointly funded by large state-owned enterprises and cultural investment companies under the jurisdiction of the government. The land required for construction can be allocated by local governments and given preferential treatment in a series of policies. Wang Wei added.
Wang Wei introduced that from the southeast coast of the mainland to Southeast Asia and many islands in the South Pacific, there are ethnic groups with similar languages and living customs in the prehistoric period, and the international academic community collectively calls them "Austronesian language families". They are currently the only large ethnic group in the world that is mainly distributed on islands, with a population of about 270 million.
"Where did these inhabitants of the South Pacific islands come from?" Wang Wei said that since the autumn of 2011, the Institute of Archaeology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences has joined hands with archaeological institutions in the coastal areas of Hainan, Fujian, Guangdong and Guangxi to carry out archaeological work, and has achieved remarkable results, revealing the archaeological and cultural features and development sequences of this region from 6,000 to 3,000 years ago. At the same time, archaeological results show a large degree of consistency between the indigenous cultures of the prehistoric period of the South Pacific island countries and the southeast coast of the continent. These common or similar cultural factors first appeared in the southeast coastal areas of the continent and then gradually spread radially outward. This series of archaeological discoveries and research results show that the southeast coast of the mainland, including the southeast of Hainan Island, is most likely the "Austronesian language family" and its cultural origin.
In order to further promote the development of tourism in Hainan and give play to the historical role of the "Austronesian Language" and its cultural origin, Wang Wei suggested that the "Austronesian Language" cultural paradise be built in Sanya, Hainan, and the introduction of indigenous art forms and handicrafts distributed in various island countries in the South Pacific, as well as the performance of ceremonies such as marriage, chengding, festivals, and worship of gods, as well as the performance of living customs such as clothing, food, shelter, and transportation, so as to turn the cultural park into a display window for the traditional customs of the "Austronesian language" island countries and the Li ethnic group. In Sanya, visitors can experience the living customs and cultural connotations of residents scattered in the vast area of the South Pacific.
