The annual "Mario Day" is coming on Thursday, March 10, and a large number of promotions about Mario games are underway.
Like the May 4 celebration for Star Wars fans, March 10 became Mario's public holiday. Recently, sales of Mario games have grown significantly in Switch's e-marketplaces, as well as in the online marketplaces of Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. As a discount promotion, a series of games that originally cost $60, such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Edition, were reduced to $40.
Amazon platforms also offer activation codes for DLC for some Mario games such as Louis Haunted House 3, and GameStop offers various discounts on Mario toys, clothing, and collections. The promotion lasted until early next week.
Mario Day 2022 is just around the corner, and fans are looking forward to this IP even more. Mario Golf and Mario Tennis have landed on the Switch, Mario Strikers: Battle League, a Mario soccer game from Nintendo, is about to launch, and another Mario's partnership with Crazy Rabbit is also planned.
