More than 10,000 international reinforcements help Ukraine fight! Russian Ministry of Defense: Attack the Russian army with Western missiles!
There have been new changes in the situation in Ukraine. On March 3, Ukrainian President Zelenskiy personally announced that 16,000 international mercenaries would go to Ukraine to fight. Most of these people are veterans of various countries, have rich battlefield experience, and are outlaws who want money and do not want to die.
Earlier, the US "Military Times" reported that Ukrainian President Zelenskiy announced the creation of the "Ukrainian International Territorial Defense Corps" and promised to give visa-free treatment to foreigners who are willing to come to Ukraine to help fight. An official at ukraine's embassy in Washington also told The Military Times that they had received more than 3,000 applications from U.S. citizens, many of them veterans. A Ukrainian government official said hundreds of foreign volunteers willing to fight alongside Ukrainian troops had arrived in Ukraine.
The situation is extremely unfavorable for Russia. On March 3, Russia's Interfax news agency reported that Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said foreign mercenaries arriving in Ukraine were disrupting Russian equipment and convoys of aircraft.
Konashenkov also noted that U.S. military intelligence has helped Ukraine launch a massive campaign to recruit contract soldiers from private military companies and send them to Ukraine. According to Konashenkov's account, they first recruited employees from the American companies OF PMC, AkEdemi, Kyubik, and Dean Corporation. In addition, britain, France, Denmark, Latvia, Poland and Croatia have allowed their citizens to participate in combat operations in Ukraine.
If 16,000 international reinforcements rush to Ukraine, the Russian army will face a severe test in combat. The Russian side believes that these mercenaries from private military companies in Western countries, who have come to Ukraine to use American Javelin missiles and British NLOW anti-tank missiles, as well as Stinger portable air defense systems, are attacking Russian military convoys and attacking Russian aircraft.
Now, after more than a week of fighting, the Russians have lost 498 people in this special operation and 1,597 russian soldiers have been wounded. The Russian Defense Ministry was extremely angry at Western mercenaries, and Konashenkov publicly stated that "all mercenaries sent by the West to help the Nationalist regime in Kiev are not combatants under the International Humanitarian Law." They are not entitled to prisoner-of-war status. This means that "Western mercenaries" who arrive in Ukraine to fight will not be considered prisoners of war, and as long as they are caught by the Russians, they can be shot and killed, or they can be severely punished according to Russian law.
Notably, last week, about 200 mercenaries from Croatia arrived in Ukraine via Poland and joined a military camp in southeastern Ukraine. In response, the Russian Defense Ministry urgently summoned the Croatian military attaché in Moscow last Thursday. Earlier, 14 French Foreign Legion fighters were preparing to go to Ukraine to fight, and were detained by the authorities in Paris.
