The meeting focused on the study and deployment of relevant work to promote the construction of the province's Yuelian culture in 2022. The meeting proposed that 2022 is the year of the 20th National Congress of the Party, and the Provincial Association of Yanglian Families will organize a series of activities such as the Zhenglian Competition, the Exhibition of Fine Calligraphy of the Yanglian, the Education Exchange Meeting of the Yanglian, and edit and publish the book "Tribute to the 20th National Congress of the Party - Hunan Yuelian Cultural Inheritance Collection".
During the meeting, a calligraphy meeting of provincial and municipal friendship was also held, and a group of former residences of famous generals of the Xiang Army in Yangshi Town, Lianyuan City, was organized to conduct research. Yangshi Town (Yangjiatan) is one of the origins of the Xiang Army, and a large number of Xiang Army generals have emerged. The former residence of a famous general of the Xiang Army preserved in Yangjiatan has been listed as a key cultural relics protection unit at the provincial and municipal levels. In the former residences of famous Generals of the Xiang Army, such as Yu Qingtang, Shi Shan Tang, and Yun Gui Tang, experts either stopped to gaze or talk and discuss.

At the scene, the participants also created more than 40 couplet works for the former residence of the famous generals of the Xiang Army in Yangjiatan. For example, Lu Xiaochuan's "Title Guang Yuantang Lianyun: Dong Yu Weiwei, Long Stay Heaven and Earth Heroic Spirit; Wen Guang Hehe, More Zhenhu Xiang Era Soul", Lü Kefu's "Title Lianyun: Yiping Turbulent Xiang Zhongyong; Returned from a hundred battles and became famous in the world. ”
