When he was a child, due to his family's poverty, Wang Yucheng dropped out of school early and entered the society at the age of 14. In order to make a living, he herded sheep, worked as a carpenter, a stonemason, a painter... Life is a little harder, but there is nothing wrong with a melodious northern Shaanxi folk song, and he also enjoys it.
"In October 2005, I was operated on in the hospital due to illness, and when I returned home to recuperate, Zhidan County was holding a folk song contest, and my family encouraged me to participate, and I prepared for the competition for 12 days in my recuperation." Wang Yucheng still remembers that competition, and as a fledgling, he won the Excellence Award, rewarding 500 yuan in cash and a water dispenser. This is a great encouragement and affirmation for Wang Yucheng, who has not received any professional training, and he used the bonus to buy a VCD specifically for listening to folk songs in northern Shaanxi.

Wang Yucheng also did not expect that soon after he returned, he received a call from the other party, inviting him to apply for a job to sing folk songs in northern Shaanxi, with a monthly salary of 800 yuan. Before he did not specialize in the performance of folk songs in northern Shaanxi, Wang Yucheng had an annual income of about 100,000 yuan by contracting some small projects, but after a long hesitation, he still accepted the invitation and embarked on the road of real acting.

"She knows it's my biggest hobby, has never objected to it over the years, and has been silently supporting me behind my back." Influenced by Wang Yucheng, his three children are very passionate about culture and art, two daughters have become a family, and the son is currently a sophomore at The Lu Xun Art College of Yan'an University.
