Blue warning for heavy rain
Blue Warning for Severe Convective Weather
The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a blue warning for heavy rain and a blue warning for severe convective weather at 6 p.m. on May 2:
It is expected that from 20 o'clock on May 2 to 20 o'clock on the 3rd, there will be heavy to heavy rain in parts of eastern Guizhou, western and northern Hunan, northwest Jiangxi, north-central and southwestern Guangxi, among them, there will be heavy rain (100~120 mm) in northern Guangxi.
Some of the above-mentioned areas are accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation (the maximum hourly rainfall is 40~60 mm, and can exceed 70 mm locally), and some areas in western Hunan, central and western Guizhou, southeastern Yunnan, northern and southeastern Guangxi, and southeastern Guangxi will have thunderstorms and winds or hail weather above level 8, including northwest Guizhou, southeastern Guangxi, southeastern Guangxi and other places will have thunderstorms and gales above level 10, with maximum winds of up to 11.

The Ministry of Water Resources and the China Meteorological Administration jointly issued a meteorological warning for blue flash floods at 6 p.m. on May 2:
It is expected that from 20 o'clock on May 2 to 20 o'clock on the 3rd, flash floods may occur in local areas in northern Guangxi and other places (blue warning). Other areas may also be caused by local short-term heavy precipitation caused by flash floods, please pay attention to real-time monitoring, flood prevention and early warning, transfer and avoidance and other prevention work.

Geological Disaster Meteorological Risk Warning (Yellow Warning)
The Ministry of Natural Resources and the China Meteorological Administration jointly issued a meteorological risk warning for geological disasters at 18:00 on May 2:
It is expected that from 20:00 on May 2 to 20:00 on the 3rd, the meteorological risk of geological disasters in some areas of central Guangdong and northeast Guangxi will be higher (yellow warning). Local residents are advised to take precautions against geological disasters caused by precipitation, especially in the vicinity of geological hazards.

In the precipitation process that began on May 3, the heavy precipitation area in the south overlapped with the precipitation area in the previous period, and the risk of disaster increased, and the geological disaster had a certain lag, so it was necessary to pay special attention to the meteorological disaster forecast and early warning information, and stay away from the areas with high meteorological disaster risk.
