At 7:44 Beijing time on February 27, 2022, the mainland successfully launched the L-SAR 01 B satellite with the Long March 4 C carrier rocket at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The satellite successfully entered the predetermined orbit and the launch mission was a complete success. The satellite is mainly used for effective monitoring of the geological environment, landslides, earthquake disasters, etc.
The mission was the 408th flight of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
