A total of 26 people in six generations have worked in the Shiwan pottery industry to support a thriving pottery family. In contemporary times, "Shiwan Liu Shengji" has 26 inheritors, including 2 Chinese arts and crafts masters Liu Zemian and Liu Bing, 2 Chinese ceramic art masters Liu Jianfen and Liu Xueling, 3 senior arts and crafts artists, 5 provincial masters, 5 municipal masters, 3 senior craftsmen, 1 national non-hereditary inheritor, 2 provincial non-hereditary inheritors, and 3 municipal non-genetic inheritors.

At present, Foshan proposes to be the leader of the Lingnan Guangfu cultural context, in this context, the exhibition has become the beginning of foshan's Shiwan pottery inheritance series exhibition, and it is also a concentrated presentation of the creative crystallization of the six generations of "Shiwan Liu Shengji" cultivated pottery. The exhibition exhibits 213 works by Liu Shengji pottery of the first generation, Liu Zuochao of the second generation, Liu Yuan of the third generation, Liu Zemian, Liu Bing, Liu Jinwen of the fourth generation, Liu Shuzhen, Liu Zhaojin, Liu Runqiang, Liu Jianfen, Liu Xueling, Liu Zhibin and Liu Huiling, and the sixth generation of Li Jiaxi, Liu Ziyang, Liu Haozhen, Su Yuling, Wu Weiwei and Fang Yingtu.

The 213 works are from the collection of 16 collectors. Among them, there are the original works of the Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China; there are representative works of the three peak periods of Shiwan pottery after the founding of the People's Republic of China; there are the treasure-level masterpieces of the Dragon Kiln Red Jun Glaze Kiln in the 1980s and 1990s, and there are also works created by Liu Shengji's new generations after the 80s and 90s with new ideas. The entire exhibition covers a variety of themes such as people and animals.

Among them, including the precious "Eighteen Arhats" group sculpture. This set of Shiwan Longyao Red Jun glaze works is a large-scale group sculpture jointly created by Liu Zemian, Liu Bing, and Liu Zhaojin from 1980 to 1981. The works were exhibited in Hong Kong in 1981, causing a great sensation and promoting the spread and development of Shek Wan ceramic sculptures in overseas markets.

"I can't imagine that many works can be exhibited back in their hometown of Foshan after decades of experience, which is inseparable from the selfless efforts of collectors." Liu Zemin said that he hopes to carry forward the artistic essence and intangible heritage skills of Shiwan pottery that have been passed down from generation to generation for hundreds of years through this exhibition, so that Shiwan pottery can be passed on and Lingnan culture can be carried forward.

Chen Huan, president of the Guangdong Ceramics Association, said that six generations of pottery have not been deposed, highlighting the historical thickness of Shiwan pottery and the best embodiment of traditional cultural inheritance, "I hope that through the exhibition, let us further excavate the essence of traditional culture, and promote the construction and development of a culturally strong province with ceramic cultural exchanges." ”
