The documentary "Dunhuang Li Guangxing" is the first documentary to try to explore Dunhuang's farming culture. Through the excavation of Li Guangxing's historical and cultural background, folk legends, historical records, scholars' research, and realistic space are closely combined, presenting a unique "historical taste" and "Dunhuang taste". The film records the process of a generation of famous fruits "Dunhuang Li Guangxing" from flowering to fruiting and sales, and the process of farmers' arduous cultivation and apricot growth is all in it.
Following the trajectory of The spread of Dunhuang Li Guangxing, the film crew traveled to Chengdu in Sichuan, Fuping in Shaanxi, Hotan in Xinjiang, Lanzhou in Gansu and other places to deeply explore the history and culture of Dunhuang farming, the development history of China's apricot industry and the humanistic stories along the ancient Silk Road, highlighting the exchange and integration of cultures.
