Rumor: "Call of Duty" may break the sales model of one game per year for nearly 20 years for the first time

Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier broke the news today that the new "Call of Duty" 2023 new work developed by Team T will be postponed to 2024, and Activision is expected to add new content to "Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2" (new COD in 2022), "Call of Duty War Zone 2" in 2023, and will also launch a new "Call of Duty" ontology free-to-play game (F2P).

According to sources, this decision has nothing to do with Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard some time ago. Activision then issued an official statement that seemed neither confirmatory nor denying the report, "We have exciting Call of Duty premium and free-to-play experiences this year, the following year, and beyond, and the rest of the story is inaccurate, and we look forward to sharing more details in due course." The premium product apparently refers to the $60/70 call of duty new game, and the free ontology game is not a mobile game version of Call of Duty Warzone according to multiple sources.

Chicken Eat mode will have massive evolutions, including new play spaces and a new sandbox mode.
