The revision of the "Hangzhou Cruise Taxi Vehicle Technical Standards" adds provisions that must be applied to new energy vehicles, clarifies the vehicle wheelbase, mileage, on-board intelligent terminal and other standards, cancels the original requirements for sedan models, body size, radio playback, etc., and adjusts the scope of application of the "Hangzhou Cruise Taxi Vehicle Technical Standards".
From 2021, all new or updated rental vehicles will use new energy vehicles, and the proportion of new energy vehicles in Hangzhou will reach 80% by the end of August 2022. In this revision, it is clear that the vehicles applied for for cruise taxis must be eligible new energy vehicles.
With the continuous improvement of the functional quality of the car, combined with the actual situation of the previous cruise taxi operation, the "sedan" body structure and the restrictions on the length, width and height of the body are abolished. The scope of application of the original vehicle technical standards is the former Hangzhou urban area (excluding Xiaoshan, Yuhang District, Hangzhou Economic Development Zone). This revision clarifies that the Technical Standards for Cruise Taxi Vehicles in Hangzhou shall be uniformly applied to Hangzhou, including Shangcheng District, Gongshu District, West Lake District, Binjiang District, Xiaoshan District, Yuhang District, Linping District, Qiantang District, Fuyang District and Lin'an District. Tonglu County, Chun'an County, and Jiande City can be implemented by reference.
