The "Century Good Books" list was released in the Century Publishing Park in January 2022, and the miniature version of Cihai (seventh edition) won the "Special Award", which is the first time that Shanghai Century Publishing Group has carried out the monthly list selection activity after the selection of the annual "Century Good Books" at the end of 2021.
The selection of the monthly list is focused on the new books published by Century Publishing Group's publishing houses in December 2021 and January 2022, with a total of 44 books participating in the evaluation, and finally 17 books were selected for the 2022 "Good Books of the Century" January list.
The "Special Award" won the "Cihai " (Seventh Edition) miniature edition, with a total of nearly 130,000 entries and a total word count of about 23 million words. As the only popular large-scale comprehensive dictionary in mainland China that integrates dictionaries, language dictionaries and encyclopedia dictionaries, the whole book inherits the characteristics of comprehensive and accurate interpretation of the previous edition of "Cihai", and has a distinct era.
The professional academic list covers a wide range of books, and the New Interpretation (Shanghai Science and Technology Publishing House) is a modern plant taxonomic interpretation of the ancient Materia Medica masterpiece.
