The National Standard No. 2 amendment to the "Technical Conditions for the Safety of Motor Vehicle Operation" stipulates that from January 1 this year, newly produced passenger cars in China should be equipped with "EDR" that meets the requirements. This device, commonly known as the car black box, is triggered when the vehicle collides or the speed changes drastically, and the recording begins. Cao Guangping, an independent researcher of new energy vehicles, introduced: In the accident, the driver's behavior of stepping on the brake pedal, EDR will save the brake signal from how many milliamperes to how many milliamperes, including deceleration, finally stop, the whole process will be recorded.
