In September 2009, Sui Wenjing / Han Cong were a pair of dark horses that won the national figure skating championship. In March 2017, at the World Championships in Helsinki, Finland, they won their first world championship of their careers. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, the "Onion Barrel Combination" scored a season-high 82.39 points in the short program, ranking first, and is recognized as a favorite to win the championship. But in the free slide, Sui Wenjing made two small mistakes. In Sui Wenjing's one-month bed rest and two months of rehabilitation, Han Cong immersed himself in training, practiced the plan of the male companion and then trained the girl, and also "borrowed a female companion to practice lifting".

Four years later, the "Golden Bridge" added a new story line, this time Sui Wenjing became a "bridge". In April 2020, Han Cong underwent hip surgery, and Sui Wenjing followed the team to Sanya for training.
