On September 7-8 and 14-16, 2021, the 3rd Kindergarten Teachers' Professional Ability Competition and Teaching Competition in Zhongshan City was held in Zhongshan Municipal Education and Sports Bureau and Zhongshan Sanxiang Town Center Kindergarten, and 55 kindergarten teachers in the city participated in the competition.
The precinct competition on the 7th and 8th is divided into two stages: game observation, lottery defense and talent display. In the game observation stage, after careful selection by the judges, 30 contestants advanced to the second stage of the competition. In the lottery defense and talent display session, the contestants competed fiercely, and 12 contestants stood out at this stage and entered the final stage.
The finals were divided into two parts: teaching activity demonstration and lottery lecture. In the teaching activity demonstration session, the contestants brought wonderful activities: feel the magic of collision with the residents of the running town, explore the level with Mario in the sound of music, transform into a watermelon and grow up with the music, draw lines on a fun trip, bring tools like a detective to find clues and reason to solve cases... Impressed by the ingenious design of the event and the exquisite teaching skills. In the lottery session, the contestants confidently and generously expounded their activity design ideas, goals, processes, teaching methods, learning methods, etc. around the examination questions, and their agile thinking, clear ideas, scientific design, and colorful expressions showed their profound theoretical skills and rich teaching experience.
The competition fully demonstrated the good morality, professional skills and teaching ability of kindergarten teachers in our city, and demonstrated the city's advanced preschool education concepts and scientific teaching methods. Teacher Chen Sihui of Zhongshan Education and Teaching Research Office said that the purpose of holding this competition is to provide a platform for kindergarten teachers in the city to learn and display, and hopes that kindergarten teachers in the city will demand themselves with the "Professional Standards for Kindergarten Teachers" and be kindergarten teachers with love. Taking outstanding players as an example, taking advanced concepts as the guide, and taking curriculum reform as the starting point, we will accelerate the improvement of basic teaching skills, and make due contributions to improving the quality of kindergarten education and promoting the healthy and harmonious development of young children. Teacher Chen also encouraged everyone to develop a good habit of lifelong learning and strive to achieve "sunshine in the heart and strength under the feet".
