【Winter Olympics have me】

Today is the thirteenth day of operation of the Winter Olympic Games, from the preparations for the pre-games months, from indoor planning to turning to outdoor "combat", my heart is excited every day for the Winter Olympics, burning for the mission entrusted to me by the motherland!

After a long period of preparation for the event, the transportation service team of the award-winning athletes, including me, was accompanied by 24 award-winning athletes' special vehicles, 30 drivers and 30 award-winning athletes to perform the service work of transporting the award-winning athletes.

Vehicle deployment and personnel training were not my specialty, and bringing together a team of many of my older members was also a challenge for me for the first time. In order to ensure the smooth running of the special car carrying the winning athletes during the race, so that all the winning athletes arrived at the scene of the award broadcast on time, and in order to hand over a wonderful answer sheet to the International Olympic Committee that assisted in organizing the race, I did my homework from the road traffic in Zhangjiakou to the intensive training of the team members before the race.

The re-planning of the road and the single and double row reform during the race have complicated the original driving route. In addition to making a detailed daily operation plan, I repeatedly familiarized myself with the roads in Zhangjiakou by car, and redrawn the driving map for each use point. Zhangjiakou competition area in winter windy and snowy, the mountain climate is unpredictable, I collected meteorological data in advance to sort out climate forecasts, for various situations that may affect the operation of vehicles have prepared the corresponding emergency plans in advance. In order to allow the 30 accompanying volunteers and 30 drivers to familiarize themselves with the working environment as soon as possible, I organized training on road traffic in the competition area for the accompanying personnel and drivers, and comprehensively sorted out and guided the work details in the process of picking up and dropping off the winning athletes.

Out of a comprehensive and meticulous understanding of the team's work, I have repeatedly made work reports on behalf of the team at the docking meeting with the International Olympic Committee, explaining in detail to foreign experts the operation process and work focus of the zhangjiakou award-winning athletes transportation service team, so that experts in different places can also "closely" grasp the progress of our work.

To deliver the award-winning athletes, "safety" is the first priority, and "punctuality" is the mission. Since the start of the competition, Zhangjiakou Awards Square has held 41 awards, and the transportation service team has also sent more than 100 athletes to the awards square safely, on time and efficiently. Every night from 6:00 p.m., I was stationed at the Winter Olympic Village Station and the outskirts of the competition venues to carry out vehicle dispatch tasks, allocate special vehicles for all the winning athletes, and deal with all emergencies for the winning athletes. Delegations have their own styles, and even a careful operational plan meets athletes with different personalities. During a venue connection mission, some of the winning athletes of the German delegation who were scheduled to connect to the National Cross-Country SkiIng Center left early, so that the original connection plan needed to be changed urgently. On the one hand, I had to quickly transfer the venue vehicles back to the Winter Olympic Village to pick up the three winning athletes, but on the other hand, there were no additional vehicles and escorts to take care of a German athlete who was singled at the competition venue. Seeing that the award time was approaching, in order to ensure that the ceremony was held on time, I quickly entered the venue to find the last German athlete who was separated from the team, briefly communicated with me about my identity and intentions, and immediately sent him to the awards square to meet his teammates. When the music of the square ceremony sounded as scheduled, I felt indescribably proud and moved. Looking back at all the highlight shots of the awards, we don't appear in them. But I know that every shot can be born without the dedication of this team behind the scenes.

【Service Testimonials】

Halfway through this journey to serve the Winter Olympics, I worked for thirteen days in the awards square closest to the glory of the Winter Olympics, and I constantly felt the true meaning of the Olympic Games "higher, faster, stronger and more united" in the vitality and enthusiasm of athletes from all over the world, the dedication and unity of the team. On 20 July 2021, the 138th Plenary Session of the International Olympic Committee was officially adopted, adding "more unity" to the Olympic motto.

Hosting the Winter Olympics in the post-epidemic era is a beautiful meeting between China and ice and snow athletes around the world, and it is also a commitment to all countries to work together to tide over difficulties. The awards plaza undertakes the mission of glory and revelry every day, witnessing the purest oath of the Olympic Games. I saw that the highlights on the podium did not distinguish between China and the West, and the friendship between the athletes inside and outside the stadium had no borders; I saw that the staff of the operation team of the awards plaza worked hard in their respective jobs, day and night, and jointly shouldered the heavy responsibility for the mission of running the Olympic Games and showing the style of a big country to the world. As of today, Zhangjiakou Awards Plaza has welcomed five Chinese athletes, who have witnessed the rise and development of China's ice and snow sports, and have also inspired everyone who loves and participates in the Winter Olympics. Whenever the national flags of various countries are raised by Chinese soldiers in the square, I see that this ice and snow event is making "more unity" shine from ideals to reality, making the charm of ice and snow sports and the "2022 Beijing Winter Olympics" an unprecedented event that unites all ethnic countries in this special era.
