According to reports, with the theme of "Promoting High-quality Development through the Transformation and Application of Intellectual Property Rights", this event aims to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on intellectual property work, comprehensively deepen the cross-regional intellectual property cooperation in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, empower industrial upgrading with intellectual property rights, and drive the development of new quality productivity in Chengdu-Chongqing region.
At the launching ceremony, the heads of the market supervision departments of Beibei, Mianyang and Guang'an jointly signed a cross-regional patent transformation cooperation agreement. The three parties will cooperate in five aspects: sorting out and revitalizing the stock of patents in universities and scientific research institutions, promoting the industrialization and marketization of regional patents, improving the service mechanism for patent transformation and application, exploring and promoting regional intellectual property off-site financing, and strengthening information exchange and sharing, and promote the establishment of a joint meeting mechanism and information sharing mechanism between the market supervision departments of the three places, so as to give full play to their respective regional advantages and jointly support the optimization of the innovation environment and business environment in Chengdu and Chongqing.
In addition, the three places also jointly released the 2023 Typical Cases of Intellectual Property Protection. Since last year, the three places have handled a total of 237 cases of administrative violations of intellectual property rights, 330 cases of patent infringement disputes, 4 cases of judicial confirmation of dispute mediation, and 23 cases of people's mediation, providing a solid guarantee for innovators. On the same day, relevant enterprises and units also signed a number of cooperation agreements on patent transformation promotion projects on the spot, with an agreement amount of more than 1,800 yuan.
