In July 1962, an ancient tomb appeared in the area of Xiaoxitian outside the Desheng Gate in Beijing. The archaeologists inadvertently tapped the tomb wall and found a dark grid full of treasures!

01, the legend of the girl's grave

To the north of xizhimen bridge in Beijing, on the main road leading to Xueyuan Road, there is a place named "Suojia Tomb", and there is a place in the Xiaoxitian area north of Suojia Tomb

Called

"Girl's Grave".

Many old Beijingers say that a girl from a large family who has not yet left the cabinet is buried here. But who is this Miss Qianjin? No one can say it clearly...

In July of that year, Beijing Normal University near Suojia Tomb needed to expand its campus, and five ancient tombs were discovered in the middle of the construction. Archaeologists then excavated four of the five tombs, the most luxurious of which was Tomb No. 1.

The plane of Tomb No. 1 is square, the top of the tomb is a three-story coupon arch, and the green bricks in the tomb are all uniformly fired specifications, and the size is consistent and looks integrated. Such a particular burial chamber, the identity of the tomb owner must not be simple.

At the yongdao on the slope, the archaeological team found a white jade stele with a length of 98 centimeters and a width of 27.5 centimeters, on which were engraved with the words "Qing Dynasty Lady Heishe Lishi Zhiming".

It turned out that the owner of the tomb was a woman, the "Black Sherith" (Herschel).

When everyone opened the burial chamber, no coffin was found. In the middle of the empty burial chamber, there is only a box 44 centimeters long and 45 centimeters high!

As everyone expected, this is an urn

02, the treasure hole in the wall

The burial chamber has long been empty and appears to have been stolen! Just when the archaeologists were discouraged, a person slapped on the tomb wall with chagrin, and actually heard an empty sound of "bang" - there was a problem with this wall, it was hollow!

Opening the tomb wall, a Buddhist shrine appeared in front of everyone's eyes. It's also full of funerary artifacts!

It seems that in order to prevent theft, the family of the tomb owner made a design in the wall of the tomb and hid the precious burial items in it, which avoided the black hand of the tomb robber.

Subsequently, after cleaning, the east and west pieces in the Shrine were precious and abnormal, including 15 pieces of porcelain, 30 pieces of jade, 2 pieces of crystals, 8 pieces of metalware, and 1 side of the epitaph, of which porcelain and jade were the most abundant and exquisite, and their luxury was no less than that of the nobles of the palace...

Its tire quality is delicate and colorful, and the outline is outlined with blue and white flowers, and then the patterns such as grapes and bamboo are drawn. The Fighting Colors of the Ming Dynasty have been passed down from generation to generation, and the Chenghua Doucai is even more extremely dusty!

In 2014, a "Chenghua Doucai Chicken Bowl Cup" appeared at the Sotheby's auction in Hong Kong, which was auctioned for 280 million Hong Kong dollars at that time!

And the Doucai grape cup unearthed from the tomb of the Suo family, the two pairs of children are still extremely intact, and the value is even more than that!

Looking at these unique and exquisite jade and porcelain, people are more curious about this "Herschel", what kind of person is she? Why is it possible to have such a luxurious burial?

Of course, the life of "Herschel" has been recorded in detail in the hanbai jade epitaph. After interpretation, her identity surprised everyone!

03, Miss Qianjin who died early

The epitaph reads that the owner of the tomb was "the granddaughter of Emperor Qing Guanglu Dafu's assistant chancellor, Gongwen Zhongsuo of the First Rank, Lady Yipin's wife Tong Jia, and also the eldest daughter of The Prince of Guanglu's grand master, Princess Fu Hubu Shangshubao, and the eldest daughter of Lady Tong of Yipin".

It turned out that this "Herschel" was really famous, she was the granddaughter of the Manchu Qing chancellor Sony and the daughter of suo etu, the assistant chancellor of the Kangxi Dynasty.

Because the empress of the Kangxi Emperor was from the Hesheri family, in other words, this girl could be regarded as the kangxi emperor's sister-in-law!

According to the "Draft History of the Qing Dynasty", Sonny was a Manchu Zhenghuangqi man, one of the founding ministers of the Qing Dynasty, and on the deathbed of Shunzhi, he appointed Sonny as the head of the four auxiliary ministers to assist the young Kangxi Emperor in administering the country.

Subsequently, Sony's son Soetu held a heavy position in the Kangxi Dynasty, and his niece became the empress of Kangxi!

The inscription records that "Hescheli" was born on July 13 of the kangxi year of Pengshen and died on december 27 of the year of Jiayin. This Manchu Noble Lady of the Yellow Banner died at the age of 7.

"Herschel" has been intelligent and kind since childhood, and her father Soetu also regards her as a pearl in his hand! Unexpectedly, a rash disease ruthlessly took the life of the little girl.

The whole family is plunged into endless grief! Therefore, after a grand and luxurious funeral, Suo Etu buried a large number of precious porcelain, jade, etc. as burial items in his daughter's tomb.
