Before the Spring Festival holiday, I got a rear-drive long-range version of the Xiaopeng P7, which is currently on the market 670E+ model, with Xpilot 3.0 version of assisted driving function, battery capacity of 80 kWh. For me, not having a home charging pile does bring some inconvenience in the process of using an electric car, but it does not constitute anxiety, and the two things that really make me anxious are extremely low power fast charging piles and expensive electricity prices.
Everyone knows me, and in my habit, as long as I go out half an hour early, I can charge a suitable battery to rush to the appointment. So as usual, on the afternoon of the first day of the Chinese New Year, I made an appointment with my colleagues for a movie at five o'clock in the afternoon, so I arrived at the charging station at four o'clock in the afternoon, and the mileage of the vehicle was more than thirty kilometers at this time.
At that time, the peak power of charging was only 20Kw, while the average level of the State Grid charging pile was about 40Kw, so the time left for themselves according to the average level was obviously not enough. So you will see a charging bill in my charging record that only costs 15 yuan, because of the problem of halving the power of the fast charging pile, the original planned charging time was only half charged, so after arriving at the destination, it took some time to find a parking lot with charging conditions near the destination.
Electricity prices are another major anxiety problem, household charging piles only need fifty cents a kilowatt hour of electricity, while the cost of charging stations outside will increase exponentially. At present, the minimum electricity price of the State Grid charging station in Beijing is 1.46 yuan per kilowatt-hour, and the electricity price will change accordingly in different times and locations, for example, I am in the Xiaopeng Super Charging Station of Beijing Sanlitun Wynn International, the electricity price at the afternoon of January 29 is 2.18 yuan per kilowatt-hour, when I used 60 yuan to charge only 28 degrees of electricity, about 200 kilometers of endurance, in the winter electricity consumption doubled, the mileage cost of the car has tended to be close to the cost of a small and medium-sized displacement fuel car.
The real problem that makes a dockless electric vehicle owner anxious is the existence of unexpected events in the process of replenishment. The core of the "fragmented charging" strategy lies in balancing the relationship between travel demand, available electricity, recharge time and energy cost, and the variables that are difficult for users to control are the time and cost of replenishment.
After the real experience, we can find that the brand-building self-operated charging station can bring significant improvements in improving the happiness of users using electric vehicles. For example, Xiaopeng's super charging station does not have to worry about the problem of low power during use, even if all the piles in the station are in use, the power can reach about 70Kw. Especially in the underground parking lot of some supermarkets, users can also experience the sense of belonging brought about by having exclusive parking spaces.
At the same time, the brand's self-operated charging network can provide car owners with preferential charging policies, which is very attractive to those users who cannot install home charging piles.

As mentioned above, in the process of using the car in Xiaopeng P7 for ten days, I drove nearly 1,000 kilometers away, and the total charging cost of each outlet was 317.84 yuan, that is to say, the cost of each kilometer was three cents. If the cost of Xiaopeng P7 is converted into fuel consumption according to today's oil price of 8.16 yuan per liter, it is equivalent to 3.94 liters of fuel consumption per 100 kilometers. Of course, this is in the case of severe tests of endurance in winter, if the weather is warm, the cost of using the car will further decline.
So we can intuitively see that even if there is no household charging pile and it is always charged outside, the cost we have calculated is very considerable.
In a way, the idea that "imperfect charging conditions will drastically reduce the happiness of electric vehicle users" is too radical, and in actual experience, the time cost and charging cost we consume have indeed risen, but these are relative, and they have not reached the level of black and white at all.
Of course, the charging network of the State Grid, as the most easily found charging facility around electric vehicle users, needs to be further improved on the issue of ensuring charging power, and electric vehicle brands also need to enhance the systematic ability of their own charging networks, and enterprises with strong capabilities will be favored by more users.
