The Destroyer 05 is the first model in THE BYD's warship series and the first DM-i model to go public after BYD's e-net officially changed its name to Ocean.com.
According to BYD's plan, the warship series will include three models: sedan, SUV and MPV, and the models that have been announced are destroyer 05, destroyer 07, cruiser 05, cruiser 07 and landing ship respectively.
At present, the destroyer 05 has been officially unveiled at the 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show, the new car positioning A+ class sedan, based on BYD's "marine aesthetics" design concept to create, the appearance and BYD's current dynasty series of products have a certain difference.
In terms of body size, the new car length/width/height are 4780/1837/1495mm, the wheelbase is 2718mm, compared to the current hottest joint venture car Dongfeng Nissan Xuanyi three circumference just a circle, compared to its own BYD Qin PLUS series, the overall size is more similar, only slightly better in length.
In terms of interior, the new car uses an 8.8-inch full LCD dashboard with a 15.6-inch floating multimedia touch screen, which is also equipped with adaptive rotation technology.
In terms of power, the destroyer 05 is consistent with the Qin PLUS DM-i, equipped with a DM-i super hybrid system, which is composed of a 1.5L high-efficiency engine for Xiaoyun plug-in hybrid, an EHS electromix system and a DM-i super hybrid special power blade battery.
Among them, the 1.5L engine has a maximum power of 81kW and a peak torque of 135Nm, and two sets of EHS mixing systems are available, namely EHS132 and EHS145, the maximum motor power is 132kW and 145kW, and the motor peak torque is 316Nm and 325Nm, respectively.
In terms of batteries, the new car is matched with DM-i's dedicated power blade battery, with battery capacities of 8.32kWh and 18.32kWh respectively, corresponding to pure electric cruising ranges of 55km and 120km.
