Huang Baojiao, the character Qiannong, the number of the neighboring valley, the nickname broken bowl, alias Qingshan Farmer, Changle County Qingshan Village people. The young people studied at the Quanmin Normal School and later entered the Shanghai Law and Politics School. After graduation, he was fascinated by calligraphy, inscriptions, seal carvings, painting and other arts, and traveled to famous mountains and rivers. After the founding of the Republic of China, he returned to Fuzhou and successively served as the director of the Fujian Provincial Library, a teacher of the Fujian Jiazhong Commercial School, and a supervisor. After the 9th year of the Republic of China (1920), he settled in Shanghai and served as the editor of the Shanghai Commercial Press, responsible for reviewing and proofreading and publishing books such as song Tuo Chunhua Ge Ti and Tianlai Ge old Song people's picture albums.
Later, he served as the director of the museum's art department for more than 20 years, and participated in the work of "Shenzhou Guoguang Society". Bao Jiao is proficient in appraisal, and the artistic value of the calligraphy and paintings published is very high. He also serves as the editor-in-chief of Wenyuan, a supplement to China New Daily, the director of the Department of Graphics of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, and a professor of the Department of Calligraphy and Painting of Shanghai University.
BaoJiao calligraphy Sect Qin Han, deqi Bo wrote the essence of the stele, Chengyi Bingshou penmanship, Shen Jian Xiuyi, along with Wang Fuchang and Ma Gongyu, called "three elders on the sea"; the examination and approval of calligraphy and painting together with Yao Yuqin, Wu Hufan, Zhang Dazhuang, called "Hubin Four Wise Eyes". Its seal carvings of the initial Fa Anhui and Zhejiang schools, following Zong Mufu, chasing the Qin and Han Dynasties, fusan Han Wa Jin bricks, sealing mud and three generations of Ji Jin, are a style of their own. After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan, Bao Yi resigned from the Commercial Press and lived in Shanghai to provide for himself. The name of the residence is "Warm Sun Lu", also known as "Cane Incense Hall".
Bao Jiao has a straight temperament, quiet and unsolicited, filial piety to the mother, follows the good temptation of learning later, focuses on art all his life, is poor and self-disciplined, and tastes the "onion soup and wheat rice family style" to print self-encouragement. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, he was hired as the first batch of librarians of the Shanghai Museum of Culture and History, and served as a member of the third session of the Shanghai Municipal Federation of Literature and Literature.
