Xinhua Zidian is the first modern Chinese dictionary in mainland China. In addition, this month, a new Romanian Chinese dictionary was launched, the Selected Luohan Hanluo Dictionary, which is a bilingual two-way, lingua franca dictionary, divided into two parts: the Luohan Dictionary and the Hanluo Dictionary. The collection is based on commonly used language words, taking into account the words that appear more frequently in various areas of daily social life and refining their common usage. The total size of the dictionary is about 2.4 million words (1.2 million words each, about 20,000 words each). It can be used by readers who are learning Romanian in China and for Chinese learners who are native Speakers of Romania.
In April, the Commercial Press launched the second series of 30 kinds of "Chinese Translation of Masterpieces of World Literature Series", including "The Chronicle of the Dumb Country", "Sakya Anthology", "Prophet Sand and Foam", "The Old Man and the Sea" and other books.
Recent new books also include "Notes", and the author Huang Qiaosheng believes that because of the long history and differences in customs, some scenes, sentences, classical and modern classics in Lu Xun's works, if not explained, even Chinese readers will inevitably have obstacles to understanding. "A Q Zheng Biography" is a miscellaneous cultural novel, with high cultural content and more discussion. For example, the preface is almost a treatise on the title of a biography, which is itself a commentary on the title of the whole book.
