Chen Liuqiu, the eldest daughter of the master of traditional Chinese studies Chen Yinke, was born in Beijing in May 1929, after graduating from Shanghai First Medical College in 1953, he was assigned to Chongqing 610 Textile Factory to engage in medical work, from 1961 to chengdu Second People's Hospital internal medicine work, in 1984 as the director of the hospital's internal medicine department, retired in 1992. After retirement, Chen Liuqiu reads books, surfs the Internet, watches the news every day, and plays a family routine with relatives and friends, enjoying his own peace.
According to media reports, his father, Chen Yinke, a master of Chinese studies, is known as one of the four great philosophers in Tsinghua's century-old history, but Chen Liuqiu did not feel that his father was any special compared to other scholars in Tsinghua Garden. However, her father often has a normal heart and a low-key and calm attitude, which impresses her. Chen Liuqiu said that her father was as rigorous and down-to-earth in doing historical research as he was doing scientific research, and often told her not to be sloppy in studying medicine.
