During the year, Chengdu's first listed company on the Science and Technology Innovation Board, Chang'e Moon Exploration, Mars Exploration behind the scenes

On February 15, Kunheng Shunwei (N Kunheng: 688283.SH) was listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange at an issue price of 33.8 yuan per share, with a price-to-earnings ratio of 64.83 times, which is also the first A-share listed company in Chengdu in the Year of the Tiger.

Kun Heng Shunwei held a bell ringing ceremony at the western base of the Shanghai Stock Exchange in Chengdu, which was also the first time that the Shanghai Stock Exchange held an on-site listing ceremony at a base other than the headquarters.

The successful listing of Kunheng Shunwei also marks the 14th science and technology innovation board enterprise in Sichuan. On February 15, at the scene of the bell ringing ceremony, Zhang Jilin, chairman of Kunheng Shunwei, was interviewed by Red Star Capital Bureau.

During the year, Chengdu was the first enterprise listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board

He has "contributed" to Chang'e lunar exploration and Mars exploration projects

Kunheng Shunwei was founded in 2010 and listed on the New Third Board in 2016. Since its establishment, Kunheng Shunwei has been focusing on the field of RF microwave testing and simulation.

"Our company is relatively lucky." Zhang Jilin said that in recent years, the mainland's attention to and support for the radio test instrumentation industry has continued to increase, the technical level of the industry has been continuously improved, and the advantages of domestic equipment in product cost performance, after-sales service, geography and other aspects have gradually emerged.

Domestic wireless communication equipment manufacturers urgently need high-quality, high-performance test and simulation instruments. In such a big environment, Kun Heng Shunwei this company also came into being.

It is worth mentioning that Kun Heng Shunwei is also one of the behind-the-scenes contributors to China's aerospace industry. It is reported that Kunheng Shunwei provides radio test simulation products and services for the communication research institutes under the China Electronics Department, Aerospace Science and Industry, Aerospace Science and Technology and other groups, as well as relevant scientific research units such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences, provides ad hoc network communication equipment detection systems for the Vehicle Networking Testing Center and major research institutes, and provides radar echo simulators for Chang'e moon landing radar and Mars probes.

Specifically, Kun Heng Shunwei provided a lunar surface echo simulator for the mainland "Chang'e-4" probe in the landing project on the far side of the moon, simulated the radar echo of the "Chang'e-4" 720-second soft landing lunar surface, and verified the function and performance of the speed measurement range sensor radar in the ground laboratory.

"Lunar exploration projects can't always do experiments back and forth, which requires that ground test simulation work must be done very carefully." Zhang Jilin said that behind these 720 seconds, it may be up to three years of simulation work.

"Simulation works like a ruler"

In Zhang Jilin's view, simulation work is like the relationship between spear and shield. "It is useless to make a spear, we don't know how penetrating it is, so we have to use a shield to measure the sharpness of the spear." Finally, he adds, simulation work can also be likened to a ruler.

Zhang Jilin, a graduate of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China with a major in electromagnetic field and microwave technology, worked for six years in the world's leading electronic measurement company. In 2010, Zhang Jilin came to Chengdu, founded Kunheng Shunwei and served as chairman and general manager.

Today, the company has mastered high-end RF microwave technology, digital circuit technology, radio test simulation algorithm real-time signal processing technology and non-real-time signal processing technology. As the fist product of Kunheng Shunwei, the company's wireless channel simulator has a sales revenue of 93 million yuan in the domestic market in 2020, and the domestic market share has approached 50%.

Why did you land the company in Chengdu?

Zhang Jilin introduced that many core members of the company's technical team come from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China; secondly, there are many scientific research institutions in Chengdu High-tech West District, including radio research institutes, which provide a good soil for the company's development in Chengdu. In addition, he said, Chengdu is a livable and workable city that can create a stable living and employment environment for employees.

According to Kunheng Shunwei, the company is a partnership with Huawei, and since 2019, it has provided Huawei with wireless channel simulators for 5G testing, and Huawei occupies more than half of the domestic 5G base station market. In Zhang Jilin's view, in the future, with the increase in domestic 5G base station construction investment and the popularization of 5G communication technology in various fields, the domestic wireless channel simulator market demand will increase to a certain extent.
