We obtained a set of road test photos of BYD's new Tang EV four-wheel drive version of the model from the network, the new car is the flagship model of the BYD family, positioning a medium-sized pure electric SUV, suspected of a price range of 280,000-350,000 yuan, the fastest pre-sale in late March, listed in late April. The front face of the new car is equipped with a closed chrome mesh design, and the bottom is matched with a new style of wheel shape. The new car has a cruising range of 730km under CLTC conditions and accelerates from 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds (all-wheel drive version).
In terms of appearance, the overall visual effect of the new Tang EV front face is more avant-garde after replacing the latest styling of the family, and the segmented air duct design has been added to both sides of the lower bumper, and the side of the car still uses the method of hiding B/C/D pillars to create a sense of déjà vu of the suspended roof. The size of the new Tang EV has increased compared with the current model, with a length, width and height of 4900× 1950×1725mm, and a wheelbase of 2820mm. In addition, the new car has added a 6-seat version and provides tanner audio, electronically controlled active suspension and other configurations.
In terms of power, the new Tang EV is equipped with two versions, single motor and dual motor, of which the maximum power of single motor is 180kW, and the maximum power of dual motors is 180kW/200kW, respectively. In terms of cruising range, the maximum cruising range of the two-wheel drive version is 730 kilometers under comprehensive working conditions, and the maximum mileage of the four-wheel drive model is 635 kilometers.
