In recent years, equestrian sports in Suzhou and even In Jiangsu Province have gradually heated up, and the Municipal Youth Sunshine Sports League has been held for three years, and the first Youth Equestrian Competition of the Municipal Games has been held. According to statistics, there are currently more than ten equestrian clubs in Suzhou, and more and more Suzhou teenagers have fallen in love with equestrian sports. In Suzhou, more than 4,000 teenagers love and participate in equestrian sports.
Shen Houfeng, president of the Jiangsu Provincial Equestrian Association, said that the development momentum of Suzhou equestrian sports is very strong, and it has been at the forefront of Jiangsu, especially in the integration of sports and education, which has received the attention and support of the sports and education departments, and has achieved excellent results. At the 2021 National Equestrian Dressage Championship, 6 pairs of people and horses joined hands to reach the final of the individual competition, creating history; in the 2021 China Equestrian Dressage Championship Cup, Jiangsu team rider Wu Ya topped the championship podium in the Group A individual competition. In addition, Jiangsu athlete Bao Yingfeng is also one of the riders of the Chinese equestrian team at the Tokyo Olympic Games, and he also won the individual gold medal in three events at last year's Shaanxi National Games.

At present, Fenglu Equestrian Club and World Rider Equestrian Club have cooperated with the Affiliated School of XJTLU University and the Chinese School outside Sioux City to include equestrian sports in the school physical education curriculum, and more than 20 schools such as Jinji Lake School in Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou Peking University New Century Shiheng School, Kunshan Experimental Primary School and so on have been carrying out extracurricular training in equestrian sports. In addition, the Municipal Equestrian Association also cooperates with various equestrian clubs to actively promote and publicize horse culture through commercial complexes, kindergartens, sports events and other carriers and platforms, actively apply for the mass sports league project of the Municipal Sports Federation, and carry out colorful parent-child equestrian activities to let more families understand equestrian sports.
In the first Provincial Youth Equestrian Championships in 2021, the Suzhou Equestrian Team won 4 gold, 5 silver and 3 bronze, and the total number of medals ranked first in the province. At present, the Suzhou Equestrian Team has registered 95 athletes, and they are actively preparing for the upcoming Jiangsu Provincial Games and Provincial Championships, which will begin in May. Zhang Jinmin, president of the Suzhou Equestrian Sports Association, said that he would closely focus on the goal of the three gold medals, prepare scientifically and diligently, work together to overcome difficulties, make every effort to do a good job in the guarantee work, and strive to exceed the provincial games tasks issued by the Municipal Sports Bureau. It is worth mentioning that in July last year, the 2021 "Pengmeng" Yangtze River Delta Equestrian League (Heilan Pegasus Water City Station), jointly organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Equestrian Association, the Zhejiang Equestrian Association, the Anhui Equestrian Association, the Shanghai Equestrian Association and other three provinces and one city equestrian associations, was officially launched. The league attracted more than 300 horses and nearly 700 pairs of people and horses from the Yangtze River Delta region, and competed fiercely for the champions of multiple levels in the two events of dressage and venue obstacle courses. The scale of the Yangtze River Delta Equestrian League broke the record of China's competition, for three consecutive days, and the single-day competition lasted for 14 consecutive hours.
Previously, in the "Notice of the General Office of the Provincial Government on the Implementation Plan of the Outline of the Proposal for the Implementation of the Proposal of a Sports Power in Jiangsu Province" officially issued by the General Office of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province, equestrianism was officially positioned as a "leading fashion sports project industry" for the first time, and the official clearly stated that equestrianism is a sports industry, but also a fashion sports industry. Further explore the construction and activity methods of party branches of sports social organizations, and carry out colorful party day activities in combination with business. At the same time, we should conscientiously do a good job in improving the party's work style and building a clean and honest government, focus on implementing all the work deployed by the higher levels, further strengthen ideological construction, implement the "one post, two responsibilities," and strengthen education on combating corruption and promoting clean government.
Second, adhere to standardized construction and consolidate the foundation for development
The association should conscientiously plan the development direction of equestrian sports in the next few years, gradually increase the popularization and promotion of equestrian projects, focus on promoting the extension of association organizations to streets and communities, strengthen the construction of grass-roots associations and clubs, continuously improve the number and service quality of grass-roots organizations, actively innovate market-oriented operations, strive to explore the physical model, and attract more social forces to participate in the cause of the association. It is necessary to pay more attention to the internal and external supervision of sports social organizations, standardize the development path of sports social organizations, and strive to make all sports social organizations become community organizations that unite and cooperate, serve the society, and operate in a standardized manner. Strive to move towards "8 + X", adhere to the standardization, socialization, materialization, specialization, wisdom, balance, rule of law, national development model.
Third, innovate and develop ideas to promote the popularization of projects
After the establishment of the Equestrian Sports Association, it is necessary to give full play to its own advantages, find out the positioning, extensively unite people from all walks of life, fully mobilize all positive factors in society, vigorously develop members, clubs, bases, and work hard from the aspects of competition, training, and popularization, make a fuss, and promote the development of equestrian sports. By actively creating characteristic brand events, we will gradually form a virtuous circle of guiding the national fitness cause with sports social organizations and strengthening sports social organizations with the national fitness cause.
