Recently, with the launch of a new generation of new energy power forecasting system, Xinjiang's new energy power generation has a "weather forecast". The system uses more than 10 algorithms such as artificial intelligence (AI) to dig deep into the electrical operation data and wind and solar resource data, which can grasp the situation of new energy power in the future period of time at any time and further promote the consumption of new energy.
At present, 618 new energy field stations in Xinjiang have been connected to the new generation of new energy power forecasting system, and different forecasting strategies can be adopted for small windy weather and strong wind weather according to differences in Xinjiang's terrain, wind and photovoltaic resources, and power generation characteristics. The accuracy of wind power forecasting has reached 96%, which is conducive to further planning and developing Xinjiang's abundant natural resources such as wind and solar energy.
