From February 12th to 14th, the 2022 Beijing News Center "Colorful Shenzhou" theme exhibition area ushered in the Shantou Theme Day, showing the image charm and cultural characteristics of Damei Shantou to the media and domestic and foreign guests. Among them, a number of Shantou "intangible cultural heritage" projects organized by the Shantou Municipal Cultural Center appeared in this exhibition.
"Colorful Shenzhou" theme exhibition area is an important communication platform for displaying Chinese culture during the Winter Olympic Games, Shantou theme exhibition is divided into four major sections: the main image display area, the "cultural beauty" display area, the "cultural connotation" display area and the "cultural fun" interactive area, with the theme of "Celebrating the Winter Olympics and Welcoming Asian Youth", taking Shantou's preparation for the third Asian Youth Games as the main content, and the exhibition area design as a whole integrates Asian youth elements, toy cultural creativity, intangible cultural heritage, etc., to publicize the image of the host city and the unique Lingnan culture and Chaoshan culture. Among them, the "Beauty of Culture" exhibition area exhibits six kinds of intangible cultural heritage products of Chaozhou wood carving, inner painting, Chaozhou wood carving, inner painting, Chao embroidery, inlaid porcelain, gold lacquer painting and arcade creative building blocks in a static exhibition, and the interactive area of "Cultural Fun" designs interactive projects, and the inheritors display Shantou Gongfu tea art, Chao embroidery hook flower making technology, Guangdong paper-cutting (Chaoyang) and Shantou seal engraving techniques on the spot, providing visitors with an in-depth cultural experience and comprehensively displaying the urban image and unique cultural charm of yaqing city.
