Xu Hongfei's "West Island Female Militia" portrays the "Eight Sisters Gun Squad" in Hainan, who guard the hot land of the West Island with their youth, and their deeds have spread throughout the country. Unlike his romantic "Fat Girl Series" creation, Xu Hongfei uses more realism in the portrayal of female militia in the West Island. "This is a monumental work that records the times." Xu Hongfei said that this requires the creators to be realistic and restore the scenes of the daily training of the artillery squad members and the protection of coastal defense through the works as much as possible.
"Falling Rain" is a work that Xu Hongfei brewed during his break from the Fossil Gate National Forest Park. The beauty of Shimen National Forest Park makes people linger, and the children playing in the mountain streams also remind Xu Hongfei of his carefree youth, so he is named after the Cantonese children's song "Falling Rain".
In addition, works such as "Guotai Min'an", "Builder of the New Era", "Angel's Kiss", "Kiss", "Lingnan Spring", "Three-Bullet Pipa" and other works were exhibited at Fortune Wharf and New Era Station Exhibition East.
The work "Guotai Min'an" focuses on the awakening lion culture of Lingnan. "Lingnan Spring" reflects the beautiful life of Guangzhou citizens, only to see a fat woman struggling to pedal a bicycle, but her body is quite stretched, her body is slightly backwards, her arms are open, her head is raised high, she seems to enjoy the breath of spring, and her flowing hair and skirt bring positive strength to the whole work.

Many parents who travel with their children imitate the movement of the "fat girl" and interact with the children in front of the sculpture, and the scene is full of laughter and laughter. Xu Hongfei said.
