BEIJING, Feb. 13 (Xinhua) -- Learn the art of Peking Opera with popular artists from the Beijing Opera House, listen to the daily life of the "river chief" told by the "water control man riding the wind and waves", observe the Winter Olympic torch with the designers of the Winter Olympic Torch, and listen to the architects tell the behind-the-scenes stories of many of Beijing's city landmarks... Starting from February 1, the 2022 Beijing News Center's "City of the Double Olympics • Kandian" interactive display event will invite guests from all walks of life to enter the live broadcast room with the frequency of one per day, combined with their personal experiences of working, living and studying in Beijing, to tell the story of Beijing from a personal perspective, and present the changing times and unique charm of the "City of The Two Olympics".
The interactive display activity of "City of The Two Olympics and The Classics" is one of the nine exhibition projects of the Beijing News Center in 2022. Combining the themes of the times and social concerns, the "City of The Two Olympics" adopts the form of "one theme a day, one picture and one story" in the form of live webcast micro-interviews, allowing ordinary people to act as "news spokesmen" for their own lives and tell the story of Beijing that they observe and feel from their perspective.

"New Year's Drama" is the "old rule" for the people to welcome the Lunar New Year, and on this day, the first interactive display activity of the 2022 Beijing News Center "City of The Double Olympics • Watching the Classic" was the theme of "Watching the Drama in the New Year".
Peking opera is an important expression of the traditional culture of the Chinese nation. At the live broadcast event, Liu Tong, president of the Beijing Opera House, Du Zhenjie, a famous artist of old students, Zhang Huifang, a famous artist of Meipai Qingyi, and Ai Bing, a famous artist of Jinghu, told the audience about the relationship between Peking Opera art and Spring Festival culture, the story of Peking Opera "going out", and the practice of national heritage inheritance and Peking Opera innovation. On this day, the "City of Two Olympics • Watching the Classics" event, with the theme of "Flying Sacred Flames", invited the designers of the torch torch lamps of the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, the person in charge of the operation of The Olympic licensed goods and the collectors of the Olympic collections to share their fate with the Olympic Games.
During the live broadcast, Li Jianye, the designer of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics Tinder Lamp and Torch, explained to the audience the design concept of the Beijing Winter Olympic Torch "Flying", which can "shake hands" the design details and the symbolic meaning of exchanges and mutual learning between different civilizations.
