[United States] San Gabriel City designated new councilors Wu Chengyuan and Carina Rivera as the new councilors
San Gabriel News:
On February 10, two new MPs were elected in san gabriel after the resignations of Chin Ho Liao and Jason Pu.
After an interview on the same day, Parliament designated Carina Rivera and John Wu to replace two parliamentarians for a term that ends in November 2022.
It is reported that the MPs received a total of 25 applications, and the interviews of the applicants were conducted at a public meeting at Mission Playhouse, which was open for public inspection.
Carina Rivera and Wu Chengyuan will be sworn in at the City Council meeting on Tuesday, February 15, as two newly appointed city council members until Election Day in November.
A few days ago, the former mayor of San Gabriel resigned for health reasons.
Former lawmaker Bu Junyi resigned because of his federal position.
