Walking into the meizhou saint-gobain high-end automotive glass production workshop located in Meizhou High-tech Zone, the reporter saw that in this modern factory with an area of 30,000 square meters, the production equipment is running at high speed, the mechanical arm is constantly waving, and the figure of the operator is very few. Seeing this, it is difficult to imagine that this 300 million yuan production line can produce 50,000 pieces of laminated glass per month.
Meizhou Saint-Gobain project production engineer Zhou Junliang: Our personnel need a relatively good level of technology to use some of the parameters of our master computer to complete the production process, we can also see that there are a lot of parameters in our computer, then we mold this process has about 200 parameters that we have to adjust, to monitor, to control.
A piece of high-end laminated glass from pretreatment to the final finished product takes eight hours, each link needs someone to analyze the data in time, accurately adjust the parameters, only in this way can we ensure the continuity and stability of production, in order to ensure the quality of finished glass.
Zhou Junliang, production engineer of Meizhou Saint-Gobain project: Our molding process is to determine whether our factory and production line can make this piece of glass, and then our assembly line determines whether we can do this piece of glass well, so that the yield rate is higher and more profitable.
Advanced manufacturing processes also give Saint-Gobain automotive glass specific profiles and optical properties such as "black technology" that can meet the full range of customer needs.
Liu Yang, general manager of Meizhou Saint-Gobain project: For example, this product is one of our electronically controlled dimmable glass, with this technology we no longer need sunshades in the future, these two products are our more typical current thermal comfort products, it is mainly able to provide an effect of heat insulation, then we no longer need to use air conditioning to blow the front windshield, and its cost is much lower than the film we are currently on the market.
Liu Yang introduced that the Meizhou Saint-Gobain project was jointly built by GAC Group and France-Saint-Gobain Group, and the project received strong support and intimate services from the signing of the contract to the operation of the production.

Entering 2022, while expanding the production and sales of the first phase, the Meizhou Saint-Gobain team is intensively discussing and planning the project investment of the second phase, and plans to fill the largest single plant in Meizhou by 2025, achieving the annual output value of 1.18 billion yuan.
