Song Jiaye, deputy director of the Urban Venue Construction Department of the Office of the Beijing Major Project Construction Headquarters, introduced that in order to complete the "ice basket conversion" within 6 hours, Wukesong Sports Center creatively used the "ice dam" technology in the transformation to change the ice rink with a size of 30 meters × 60 meters into a 26-meter × 60-meter ice rink that meets the requirements of the Beijing Winter Olympics.

Song Jiaye introduced that "Ice Linghua" has two floors above ground and two underground.
