One march a dozen years ago, I went to a city in the southwest to take the entrance exam. Turning left into the campus, there is a small garden, which is a few trees that are more than one person tall, and the large purple-red magnolia flowers stand tall, which is particularly beautiful.
Generally speaking, the magnolia flowers in the south bloom relatively early, and they are ready to bloom in the late December to the beginning of January of the year; but in the north, the magnolia flowers will not bloom until April and May of each year. And the magnolia that bloomed in March was still the first time I saw it.
I thought, this school is really good. In the future, I can enjoy flowers once a year during the winter vacation at home, and I can enjoy flowers once a year when I come to school, so it is worth coming here to study for a few years.
Later, after actually going to that school and getting familiar with every corner of the campus, I found two larger magnolia gardens, one called White Orchid Garden and the other called Purple Orchid Garden. The magnolia trees planted in the orchid garden are obviously taller than those at the school gate, and each plant can be more than ten meters high. In the flower season, the trees are like clouds, which is quite romantic and spectacular.
In contrast, the floral fragrance of white magnolia flowers is more intense than that of purple magnolia flowers. In the afternoon, the sun is warm, the breeze is light, and whenever the magnolia petals fall, the good smell of flowers will overflow and refresh the heart.
Little Master Sister is a skillful foodie, and when the magnolia flowers bloom, she will pull us to help her collect some white magnolia petals that have not landed, and then take rock sugar crushed these petals and marinate them in several small porcelain jars.
After about a week, everyone can enjoy the glutinous rice dumplings stuffed with this sugar-stained magnolia petal. Such a tangyuan, which is not excessively sweet and greasy with black sesame filling, but also has a quiet floral fragrance, which is really a delicacy in the world.
When the magnolia flowers bloom, most of the leaves have just begun to germinate. On the bare branches, there is no greenery as a foil, but the white magnolia flowers will appear more elegant and colorful; the purple magnolia flowers are more brilliant and pleasant.
Magnolia flowers are also called Xinyi flowers, because when they bloom, the flower type is quite similar to the lotus flowers in the lotus pond. So, just as some people like white lotuses and some people like red lotuses; some people will prefer white magnolia flowers, and some people will prefer purple magnolia flowers.
When I was young, I used to have a special preference for white flowers, so every time I encountered a white magnolia flower, I couldn't help but take more photos to keep. Later, as I grew older, I no longer liked the white flowers so much, and the purple magnolia flowers slowly became my favorite.
Looking up at the pink color in those purple reds, although not elegant, but enough festive and lively, the mood can not help but be light and comfortable.
The magnolia flower means beautiful, and its flower language is: Zhi En Tu Bao, noble, fragrant, pure love...
I remember when I was a child, I had the privilege of collecting a set of commemorative stamps of magnolia flowers. Unfortunately, the stamps are old enough to be missing now. However, when I was a child, I read "Lao Tzu is a mother, and the spring breeze is the master."
