In order to investigate the hidden dangers of fire safety in underground space, establish and improve the fire safety system, and effectively do a good job in the fire safety work in the jurisdiction, on February 9, the Beijing Fengtai District Fire Rescue Detachment and the District Housing Management Bureau promoted the special action of underground space improvement in the streets of the district.
In the process of rectification, the inspection team focused on whether the fire fighting facilities, equipment and fire safety signs of the unit were intact and effective; whether the evacuation channels and safety exits were unobstructed; whether the evacuation sites outside the safety exits were occupied in violation of the law; whether the production, operation, and storage of inflammable and explosive dangerous goods were produced, operated, and stored in violation of the law; and whether the electrical circuits were regularly maintained and maintained.
Through this rectification action, the Fengtai District Fire Rescue Detachment assisted in the demolition of 2,718 illegal partition houses in underground space, vacated more than 4,000 tenants, and cleaned up more than 200 tons of combustible materials, effectively cleaning up fire hazards.
