2021 is a year of fruitful results for public security organs across the country to fight cultural relics crimes.

In view of the current professional, professional and intelligent characteristics of cultural relics crimes, public security organs continue to strengthen coordination and cooperation with cultural relics departments, the Ministry of Public Security and the State Administration of Cultural Relics have coordinated to establish a joint long-term working mechanism for combating and preventing cultural relics crimes, improving the platform for publishing information on stolen (lost) cultural relics in China, integrating resources and forces, establishing a coordination mechanism, and forming a joint work force to provide support and guarantee for cracking down on cultural relics crimes.
Since its launch in November 2017, China's stolen (lost) cultural relics information release platform has collected more than 2,800 pieces of data on stolen (lost) cultural relics, publicly released 650 pieces of information on stolen and lost cultural relics to the public, coordinated with the Interpol stolen art database to publish 136 pieces of information on stolen cultural relics, and accepted public clues to report.
In order to effectively improve the level of public security prevention capabilities of cultural relics museum units, the Ministry of Public Security and the State Administration of Cultural Relics have incorporated cultural relics safety precautions into the overall framework of the construction of the social prevention and control system, and jointly formulated and issued the "Opinions on Strengthening the Public Security Prevention Work of Cultural Relics Museum Units" to make overall arrangements for the public security prevention work of cultural and cultural museum units.
Public security organs and cultural relics departments in all localities have strengthened joint coordination, strengthened the internal security and security work of cultural and museum units, supervised the implementation of various systems and the construction of civil air defense and material defense technology, jointly carried out inspections and inspections, set up police stations and police offices in key cultural and cultural institutions, investigated potential safety hazards, and continuously enhanced the ability to prevent public security, effectively preventing and strongly deterring cultural relics criminal activities.
The Ministry of Public Security, together with the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate, issued a judicial interpretation on handling cultural relics cases, which provided legal, information, evidence and other support for cracking down on and preventing cultural relics crimes; together with relevant departments, formulated the "Measures for the Administration of the Appraisal and Assessment of Cultural Relics Involved in Cases", and the State Administration of Cultural Relics designated 38 appraisal and appraisal institutions for cultural relics involved in the case throughout the country to carry out the appraisal of cultural relics involved in the case.
Public security organs give full play to the advantages of various police departments, increase cooperation with cultural relics, customs, and market supervision departments, and effectively form a joint work force.
