Beijing was the first city to host both the Summer Olympics and the Winter Olympics, and in this city, Jing Zihui witnessed and participated in the Double Olympic Games. During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Jing Huizi, who was studying at the School of Journalism at the Communication University of China, became a volunteer to serve the Olympic Games, commuting between the school and the Wukesong Gymnasium every day in the hot summer, when she did not expect that she would continue to contribute to the hosting of the Beijing Winter Olympics more than a decade later. In 2018, three years after the successful bid for the Beijing Winter Olympics, Jing Zihui became a member of the Beijing Winter Olympics Propaganda Team and began to follow the propaganda team into schools, institutions and communities to popularize the knowledge of the Winter Olympics with her own actions, tell the story of the Winter Olympics, and carry forward the Olympic spirit.
In the winter Olympics lecture, Jing Huizi deeply felt the enthusiasm and expectation of the masses for the Beijing Winter Olympics, the primary school students' understanding of the Winter Olympics surprised her, and the warm feelings of the masses in the Altay region of Xinjiang, the origin of ice and snow sports, also deeply touched her, "The whole city has feelings for ice and snow. Their characteristic fur skis are one of the oldest snowboards in China. Many of the masses there are ethnic minorities and are very supportive of the Beijing Winter Olympics, and when we preached, the applause was warm, and some compatriots shed tears. ”
After the lecture, a Kazakh female student took her hand very warmly and said, "Teacher, I will soon take the college entrance examination, I want to be admitted to a university in Beijing, I want to go to the Beijing Winter Olympics." Jing Huizi responded warmly to the girl and exchanged contact information with her. When the female student was about to turn eighteen, just as the Beijing Winter Olympics began to recruit volunteers, the girl sent a message to Jing Huizi, "Teacher, I will turn eighteen in a few days, and I will sign up to volunteer for the Winter Olympics." Through this incident, Jing Huizi felt that the Winter Olympic propaganda she had made was particularly meaningful, and through the propaganda, it made young students have a fervent expectation of the Beijing Winter Olympics, which may guide their life path, which is also a vision of the Winter Olympics, "Let the Olympics light up the dreams of young people."
In 2022, with the grand opening of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, Jing Huizi and her colleagues began various preparatory work for upgrading the Beijing Olympic Museum into a double Olympic Museum, and with the support of the International Olympic Committee and the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee, held a global collection of Olympic collections with the theme of "Sharing Olympic Memories to Witness the Glory of the Double Olympic Games". When the reporter asked about the development of the activity, Jing Huizi introduced: "The activity is in full swing, and every day we will receive consultation calls from enthusiastic people who intend to donate. We have received a lot of donations now. "The extensive attention and active participation from all walks of life have made Jing Huizi once again feel the determination and efforts of the people to help the Successful Hosting of the Beijing Winter Olympics and inherit the legacy of the Beijing "Double Olympics".
