First of all, the general must have "wisdom". Sun Wu's requirements for the quality of generals, "wisdom" ranks first, wisdom and strategy are the most important for generals, and the art of war emphasizes "fighting with soldiers", "winning by surprise", and using wisdom to resist the enemy. Second, the general must have "faith". In other words, the general must keep his promises, reward and punish with faith, and cannot rebel. Shouldn't modern entrepreneurs have this quality of honesty in ancient generals? If you only care for yourself, covet profits, do not pay attention to integrity, deceive employees, and have no faith in your words, such a boss is not an entrepreneur with a broad mind and a vision, but a profit seeker who is not trustworthy.
Again, the general must have "benevolence". In other words, the general must have a benevolent heart, be able to care for the soldiers, and care for his subordinates. Sun Wu said: "Those who want the same thing from top to bottom win." "("Conspiracy") How can we have the same desire from top to bottom? Of course, the general must have benevolence, care for his subordinates, and care for the soldiers, so that the soldiers are willing to live and die with the general, and can they move forward courageously. Sun Wu said: "If you regard a pawn as a baby, you can go to the deep stream with it; if you regard a pawn as a beloved son, you can die with it." The "Terrain Chapter" means that the general can be as considerate to the soldier as he is to the infant, and the soldier can follow the general to the soup; the general can treat the soldier like his "beloved son", and the soldier can live and die with the general.
For entrepreneurs, it is also very important to have benevolence and kindness, the boss only has good for employees, care for and considerate employees, at the critical moment, in order to fight for the enterprise regardless of interests, if the boss is calculating, there is no benevolence, everything is about interests, employees will also treat the boss in the same way, once the enterprise goes into trouble, no employee will treat the boss with kindness.
In addition, the general must have "courage". That is to say, bravery and decisiveness are the necessary qualities of the general, and at the critical moment, the general must be calm, steady, and courageous to make decisions, rather than being timid and hesitant. Sun Wu said: "Therefore, there will be five dangers: death, but also killed; will be born, but also can be captured; angry and insulting; incorruptible, shameful; love for the people, but also annoying." All these five will be overdoed, and the disaster of using soldiers will also be used. If an army is overthrown and kills a general, it will be in five dangers, and it must not be ignored. ("Nine Changes"), that is, there are five dangerous character defects that should not be had for the general, that is: there is courage and no strategy, only know how to fight to the death, easy to be booby-trapped; timid, greedy and afraid of death, easy to be captured; impatient and irritable, do not know calm, easy to be provoked by the enemy; incorruptible and good name, too self-respect, easy to be praised and demented; excessive doting on subordinates, easy to be disturbed by the enemy without calm. These shortcomings are not necessary for the brave. Sun Wu said, "The Lord must not rise up in anger, nor will he be able to fight in anger." "(Fire Attack)" The general must be able to calm down at critical times, and the only general who is easy to get hot can be a coward, and only a general who can be calm and calm and calm in the face of danger is a real brave.
"Courage" is also very important for entrepreneurs, running a business requires entrepreneurs to have brave and decisive qualities, can calmly respond to crises, and can make decisive decisions in times of crisis, which have common characteristics with generals.
Finally, the general must be able to be "strict". The army needs to strictly observe discipline, and if military discipline is not strict, the troops will be scattered like a mess, so it is very important that the general can be "strict." Blindly applying "benevolence" is not something that should be done for the general. The care and love for subordinates should be timely and appropriate, and if the soldiers are overly nurtured, blindly doted on, and do not deal with violations of discipline, it will inevitably make military discipline useless, and it is impossible to make the troops cohesive, and once they go to the battlefield, they will inevitably flee. Sun Wu said: "Thick can not be made, love can not be ordered, chaos can not be cured, such as arrogance, not available." It can be seen that when a general leads a soldier, he must strictly enforce military discipline and clearly distinguish rewards and punishments. Sun Wu also said: "The generals are weak and not strict, the teachings are unclear, the officials are impermanent, and Chen Bing is rampant and chaotic." This is to say that the Lord will be weak and lack majesty, the training and education will be unclear, the soldiers will not follow, and the formation will be disorganized. Such an army, once engaged in battle with the enemy, will undoubtedly be defeated.
For entrepreneurs, it is also necessary to pay special attention to the strict implementation of the management rules of the enterprise, only strict management, in order to make the enterprise develop in an orderly and healthy manner. Family businesses tend to "turn a blind eye" to relatives, friends and relatives, and do not strictly implement management rules, which is very harmful to enterprises. If the boss does not dare to strictly punish the violations of the "seven aunts and eight aunts", it will be difficult for the enterprise to develop healthily.
