When it comes to A-class cars, SAIC Volkswagen Langyi seems to have become a hurdle that cannot be bypassed, from the completion of the listing release in 2008 to 2022, The sales volume of Langyi in China has already exceeded 5 million, which is definitely a miracle existence, and it is a veritable king of the family car.
However, in the past 2 years, with the sudden rise of Nissan Xuanyi, Langyi has continuously lost the A-class sedan crown throne, and the gap between the two is not very small, it is tens of thousands.
In the face of Xuanyi's strength, the former sales wang Langyi naturally will not sit still, so as soon as the new year starts, he can't wait to release the mid-term revamped model.
So how effective is the redesign of Langyi products?
First of all, we have to know that the audience of the A-class sedan market is mostly ordinary people, they buy cars in fact, there are not so many bells and whistles, the appearance of the interior should be neutral atmosphere, the body size can not be too small, if the configuration is a little richer, it is naturally better. As an old jianghu that has been in the A-class car market for more than ten years, Langyi naturally completely gets the needs of consumers.
First of all, in terms of appearance, the redesigned Langyi adopts the same design language as the latest Passat, and also has two front face styles, one is the traditional horizontal grille shape, which is more atmospheric and more stable; the other is called the starry sky version of the front face, which adopts the dot-decorated "starry sky" modeling net, which makes the modified Langyi look more fashionable and dynamic. For consumers, there are undoubtedly more choices.
In addition to the difference in the front face, the two versions of Langyi also have differences in wheel shape: the starry sky version is matched with two-color petal-shaped wheels, which looks very young and sporty, while the ordinary version uses a multi-spoke whirlwind style, which is relatively mature. This is in contrast to the front face.
And it is worth saying that the starry sky version of the model adopts a black roof design, the sense of grade is directly full, and it is equipped with a black ducktail at the end, creating a better sports atmosphere.
In terms of interior, the mid-term redesign of Langyi has carried out a relatively large upgrade, which adopts the same design style as the new Tiguan L, the suspension central control screen makes the interior appear more simple, and in order to create a relatively lively carriage atmosphere, the starry sky version has also added a red air outlet trim, overall, the biggest feeling of the redesigned Langyi interior is that the texture is obviously improved.
As for the car machine system, we guess that the car machine system is equipped with Volkswagen's latest MIB3 system (medium and high-end models), and the built-in functions include some online navigation, Car Networking, Baidu Carlife, Apple Carplay, voice recognition, etc., and the improvement is still very obvious.

The mid-term revamp of Langyi product strength is probably the same, compared to Xuanyi, our view is that the mid-term revamp of Langyisheng in the shape design and configuration richness, although it is still the so-called matryoshka design, but I have to say that domestic consumers like this simple and atmospheric design style, and the addition of the starry sky version gives more young consumers the opportunity; and Xuanyi's advantage may be the terrible terminal preferential price, coupled with the new and old sales strategy, the strength is still not to be underestimated.
