Unlike the current domestic models with 1.9T diesel engines, the new models are upgraded to a new 3.0T diesel engine. The car is then scheduled to start selling in the Russian market in March, and the on-site display model is priced at 4.2449 million rubles, or about 350,000 yuan.
The exterior design style of the new generation is of Isuzu mu-X compared to the current domestic version of the Ranger, the front face shape of the new model is more fierce and sharp, the sharp angle shape on the inside of the headlights is very sharp, and the middle net uses a large area of chrome decoration, and the visual effect is very eye-catching.
In terms of interior, the new generation of mu-X Ranger is equipped with a 9-inch central control screen, and the built-in system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto mobile phone interconnection. At the same time, the level of configuration of the new car has been significantly improved, which can provide front seat ventilation, electronic parking, front and rear USB interfaces, etc., and the high-end model is also equipped with dual-zone air conditioning and rear air conditioning outlets. It is reported that the new generation of mu-X in the Russian market will provide two configurations, the Comfort Edition and the Deluxe Edition, of which the Comfort Edition is equipped with a rear differential lock, electronic handbrake, 7-inch multimedia display, 6-speaker sound system, fabric seats and reversing radar. The Deluxe Edition features a driver assistance kit, leather seats, 8-way electric adjustment of the driver's seat, electric tailgate, 9-inch multimedia display, 8-speaker sound system, and more.
In terms of body size, the new generation of mu-X Rangers is 4850/1870/1875 mm in length, width and height, and the wheelbase is 2855 mm, which is a comprehensive increase in the size of the three dimensions of the current model, and the wheelbase is also increased by 10 mm.
On the side of the car, although the new car has abolished the suspension roof style, the newly launched meandering and undulating coherent waistline, with the still thick front and rear wheel eyebrows, can outline a more obvious light and shadow crease, and still reveal a sense of grandeur.
In the rear part of the car, the new car eliminated the chrome setting for connecting the tail lights, and replaced it with the word "ISUZU" in larger font to create a recognizable feature. The meandering silver-gray trim added to the rear part of the car further upgrades the wild temperament while also creating a more distinct layered visual effect.
In terms of power, the new generation of mu-X is equipped with a new 3.0-liter turbo diesel engine with a maximum power of 140 kW and a maximum torque of 450 Nm, and the transmission system matches Aisin's 6-speed automatic transmission. Foreign media said that the car will compete with Models such as Mitsubishi Pajero Jinchang, Toyota Fortuner and Haval H9 in the Russian market. According to the information we received, the new generation of mu-X has not been introduced into the domestic plan for the time being, but the current mu-X Ranger is expected to launch a gasoline version in May.
