Luis Fernández Hebrero

Born in 1958 in Torrejan de Ardoz, Madrid, Luis Fernandez Hebrero still lives and works in his hometown. He spends his summers in a small mountain village, Campillo de Ranas, where he is surrounded by nature and paints.

As a child he was fascinated by nature and art. He began studying biology at the prestigious University of Alcalá de Henares in Madrid, but during his travels to Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Florence, Milan and Venice, he decided to devote all his time to art. Hebrero continued his artistic studies at the famous Carculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid, then studied under the great painter Juan Valenzuela y Chacan.
