Recently, the "Regulations on the Work of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Communist Party of China" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations") were officially released. The "Regulations" comprehensively standardize the leadership system, production and operation, tasks and responsibilities, and self-construction of the Party's Discipline Inspection Commission, and provide action guidelines for discipline inspection and supervision organs to promote the high-quality development of discipline inspection and supervision work in the new era. As the main body of the mainland's supervision system, discipline inspection and supervision organs hold the power of supervision, shoulder heavy responsibilities for discipline inspection and supervision, and are closest to the operation of supervision rights.

Strengthen self-construction and resolutely prevent and control "black under the lights." Striking iron should be its own, and supervising others must first supervise themselves. Discipline inspection and supervision organs should clearly define the boundaries of power, strictly enforce internal control mechanisms, thoroughly implement the strategic principle of comprehensively and strictly administering the party, and build an integrated system and mechanism for promoting corruption that does not dare to be corrupt, cannot be corrupt, and does not want to be corrupt. We should be in awe of the law, plaster the golden edge of reason and moderation in supervising and enforcing discipline and law enforcement, keep the principle of party spirit, keep the bottom line of discipline and law, adhere to the original mission unchanged, and ensure that the discipline inspection and supervision organs are upright and clean internally.

Accurately position duties and functions to ensure that discipline inspection and supervision work is effectively carried out. Supervision is the first duty of discipline inspection and supervision organs, and the "Regulations" specifically refine the duties and routine work of discipline inspection and supervision organs stipulated in the party constitution into nine specific duties, such as discipline education, disciplinary supervision, handling of letters and petitions, disciplinary review, disciplinary punishment, accountability, acceptance of accusations and appeals, protection of the rights of party members, and discipline inspection and discipline. At the same time, the relevant provisions on work methods, measures, powers, procedures and other contents of these responsibilities are also made one by one. The methods of supervision and inspection have been improved, and the key contents of political supervision have been refined. Discipline inspection and supervision organs at all levels should profoundly understand and accurately grasp the specific responsibilities detailed in the "Regulations", sort out and study them, further clarify the vague understanding, ensure that the performance of duties and functions is impartial, and ensure the effective development of discipline inspection and supervision work.

Aim at the key points and keys of discipline inspection and supervision work, and ensure the overwhelming victory and comprehensive consolidation of the anti-corruption struggle. Since the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, under the centralized and unified leadership of upholding the party's discipline inspection and supervision work and the anti-corruption struggle, we have made historic achievements in comprehensively and strictly administering the party, and the anti-corruption struggle has won an overwhelming victory and been comprehensively consolidated. The relevant provisions of the "Regulations" such as taking the initiative to request instructions and reports from party committees and upholding and improving the dual leadership mechanism of discipline inspection and supervision organs at all levels fully reflect that discipline inspection and supervision organs have continuously strengthened the party's full-coverage, all-round, and whole-process leadership in the process of continuously improving the anti-corruption leadership mechanism and work mechanism. Discipline inspection and supervision organs at all levels should fully comprehend the spirit of the relevant provisions of the "Regulations," uphold the party's centralized and unified leadership over discipline inspection and supervision work and the anti-corruption struggle, consciously stand in the pattern of "great supervision" and plan and think around the key links of supervision, inspection, examination and investigation, and other work, persist in the main tone of "strictness" for a long time, enhance the efficiency of supervision and management, and ensure the overwhelming victory and comprehensive consolidation of the anti-corruption struggle.
