According to Heat reporter Greg Sylvander, a source revealed that Lakers forward Ariza's name appeared in the heat-related deal negotiations, but the team's interest in reuniting with him and the role positioning are not clear.
Ariza, 36, played in 30 games for the Heat last season and averaged 9.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1 steal per game.
So far this season, Ariza has made 16 appearances for the Lakers, averaging 3.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game.
