Under the oppression of wealth and lust, her personality gradually twisted.
Sabotaging the son's marriage, torturing the daughter-in-law to death, and breaking up the daughter's love.
Eventually he becomes a complete lunatic and is hated by everyone.
In the face of the injustice of fate, Cao Qiqiao could have changed his fate with his own efforts, but in one choice after another, he forced himself to a dead end.
After watching Cao Qiqiao, I knew why some people had never lived this life well.
The more savvy and calculating people are, the more they will lose
Cao Qiqiao, the daughter of the owner of the sesame oil shop, was favored by the Jiang family of the large family because of her beautiful appearance, and married the disabled second young master.
Marrying into the rich, dressed in gold, it seems, is a good thing to drop pie in the sky.
However, all day in the face of a husband who has suffered from hypochondriasis since childhood and cannot get out of bed for life, this feeling of "widowhood" is only known by Qiqiao.
In the Jiang family, everyone ostracized her everywhere, laughing at her rudeness, and even the next people looked down on her.
The unhappiness of life and marriage makes Qiqiao regard money as extremely important.

She was complacent about it, feeling that others had not taken advantage of her, but she never considered her daughter's feelings.
Since then, Chang'an has no face to see his classmates, and even if he encounters them on the street, he pretends not to see and walks away.
In the calculation and comparison of the hammer and baht, Cao Qiqiao lost the respect of his relatives and the future of his children.
Many people, in fact, are just like Cao Qiqiao.
At any time, I will not let myself suffer losses, and I will be complacent about every small profit of the fly, and I will not let go of any opportunity to take advantage.
Moderate shrewdness may not be a bad thing, but calculating everywhere is detrimental to character and immorality.

Seeing that others are happier than yourself is the greatest folly
Cao Qiqiao himself could not get happiness, so he could not see others happy.
As soon as her daughter-in-law Zhishou entered the door, she said to her daughter Chang'an in front of the guests:
"Your new sister-in-law has two lips, cut into a large plate."
In order to dominate her son's love, she left her son Changbai by her side all night, waiting for her to smoke opium, and let Zhishou guard the empty house alone.
But she was not satisfied and began to inquire into the boudoir secrets of her son and daughter-in-law.
Changbai didn't want to say it, and couldn't stand his mother's repeated interrogation.
He opened his mouth, and the more he spoke, the more energetic he became, and he spoke all night.
Qiqiao gritted his teeth again, laughed again, and muttered curses, and unloaded his pipe to smash the ash inside, knocking on toto with a loud bang.
The next day, at the card table, Qiqiao, in front of several female relatives and relatives' mothers, shook out the secrets of his daughter-in-law one by one, adding oil and vinegar, and painting colorfully.
The husband's snub, the mother-in-law's humiliation, such a marriage makes Zhishou worse than death.
Under a long period of mental torture, Zhishou suffered from tuberculosis and died.
In "East Evil and West Poison", it is said:
"Anyone can be vicious, as long as you've tried what it means to be jealous."
Jealousy is the devil that dwells in people's hearts, some people can control it, some people let it be released.
Cao Qiqiao himself suffered in loneliness, and he also wanted to pull others down the sea of suffering,
She herself could not get love and happiness, and she was jealous of her daughter-in-law's marital happiness.
The greatest evil of human nature is to see others as good.
In this world, there are always some people who see that others are better and happier than themselves, and they are jealous. Through belittling, satirizing, rumor-mongering, and suppressing others, inner balance is achieved.
Aristotle once said:
"The jealous person suffers because it is not only his own failures and setbacks that torment him, but also the successes of others."
I can't see the good of others, and I will only fall heavier.
Just like Cao Qiqiao, she destroyed the happiness of others, did not benefit from it, but made her children hate her even more, and eventually died in loneliness.
Harm hatch harm catch.
Become the strongest in life and not be a prisoner of fate
Some people say that the tragedy of Cao Qiqiao is that she was unfortunate to marry a cripple and could not get love for a lifetime.
But she actually had many opportunities to change her fate.
Before marrying, she could have rejected the marriage to her brother-in-law.
But she thought that marrying into the Jiang family could lead a worry-free life, and she married a boat along the water.
After marrying into the Jiang family, if she can serve her husband wholeheartedly, her marriage may still have a touch of warmth.
If she can use a sincere heart to resolve the relationship with her in-laws and strive to narrow the gap between herself and the giants, perhaps her life in the Jiang family will not be as good as a year.
But she was bitter and mean, fanning the flames everywhere and making enemies everywhere.
She first hated her husband's disability and complained about everyone.
He even told his brother-in-law about his misfortune as a joke in front of her husband:
"Sit up, your spine is straight down, it doesn't look as tall as my three-year-old!"
Later, she got into an affair with her little uncle Ji Ze, and even the next person was talking about her misconduct behind her back.
Cao Qiqiao knew that everyone looked down on her, but he had no ambition, but instead became more and more willing to degenerate, and even smoked opium with the crippled Second Young Master.
If she can cultivate her children to become talents, she may be able to harvest the filial piety of her children and the happy life of her children and grandchildren.
But in order to control her children, she lured them to opium.
The daughter-in-law was tortured to death by her, and the son's aunt was forced to commit suicide.
She forcibly wrapped her daughter Chang'an's feet, ruined her daughter's reputation everywhere, and destroyed her daughter's marriage and happiness.
She passed on her tragedy to the next generation, leaving their lives as dilapidated as her own.
Yishu said:
"In any case, it is always unforgivable for a person to fall for reasons, and the more no one loves, the more he must love himself."
Self-abandonment in any form, for any reason, is shameful.
No matter who it is, they have had incredibly difficult days.
No matter how unbearable life is, as long as you don't give up and don't admit defeat, everything will be fine.
Write at the end
At the end of the novel, Zhang Ailing writes:
"For thirty years she wore a golden shackle. She used that heavy shackle to chop and kill several people, and those who did not die also gave half their lives.
She knew that her son and daughter hated her, that her in-laws hated her, that her mother-in-law hated her. ”
Yes, she locked herself with a golden lock, locked in others, and locked in the life of her children.
Everyone will have a time when you are not treated well by fate, and you will end up being happy or unhappy, and the decision is in your own hands.
There is a saying: "Every man is the designer and caster of his own destiny." ”
Fate is only the dealer of life, and the person who plays the card will always be ourselves.
Life is a self-taught practice, and if you want to live like yourself, you can only rely on your own efforts.
Even if you are not treated well by life, you can still choose to break the shackles of fate and live your own sunshine.
