On the eve of the Spring Festival, State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power deployed a total of 7 mobile charging vehicles in the service area with large traffic flow and charging volume of the Beijing-Shanghai expressway to alleviate the difficulty of charging electric vehicles in the service area of the return peak expressway.
It is understood that this mobile charging vehicle each has 30 kilowatts of DC charging piles 4, the total charging capacity of 120 kilowatts, can provide uninterrupted charging services for 4 electric vehicles at the same time, users can directly scan the code charging through the e charging app, and conventional vehicles can be charged for 1 hour to fill up. In the service area equipped with mobile charging vehicles, the charging service capacity can be more than doubled on average.
Taking the Wuxi Meicun Service Area of the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway as an example, the station is equipped with two charging vehicles, which provide charging services more than 100 times on the first day of appearance, and the charging capacity exceeds 2,000 kWh. "Usually charging in the service area on holidays, about 1 hour in line, I didn't expect that this time I entered the service area to be charged, I can reunite with my family early, thank you for the power supply department." Wang Hongtao, the owner of the car charging in the service area, said.
In recent years, the proportion of long-distance travel driving electric vehicles has gradually increased, which has put forward higher requirements for the service capabilities of high-speed charging stations and urban fast charging stations. "We checked and rectified 51 potential safety hazards in charging facilities in advance, issued charging strategies, and used big data analysis to predict the charging heat and peak hours of the highway service area in the province during the Spring Festival holiday, and timely dispatched mobile charging vehicles to accurately provide mobile charging services." Ruan Wenjun, a staff member of the State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Marketing Department, introduced that the company arranged a total of 1706 on-site attendance of duty personnel, responded to customer charging needs in real time, and handled 1297 work orders.
It is understood that in recent years, Jiangsu has built a total of 201 high-speed charging stations and 811 charging piles to achieve full coverage of highways in the province. From January 31 to February 6, the charging piles in the province's highway sections have completed more than 64,000 charging and replacement services, an increase of 170% year-on-year, and the recharge and replacement of electricity is 1.05 million kWh, an increase of 203% year-on-year.
In addition to the convenience of high-speed charging, the construction of charging facilities in Jiangsu has moved from full coverage of townships to "village-to-village communication". In response to the growing demand for electric vehicle charging, the State Grid has also increased the transformation and upgrading of charging facilities to ensure that residents' "green" return roads are full of electricity.
