The eight new films released in the Spring Festival in 2022 cover war, comedy, drama, animation and other genres, and from the satisfaction ranking of the eight films, "The Water Gate Bridge of Chosin Lake" won the title of champion under the "Chosin Lake" effect, with a satisfaction score of 88.9 points, ranking first in the spring festival film in the historical survey. "Miracle Stupid Kid" has a satisfaction rating of 86.0 and ranks second in the slot. "Sniper" audience satisfaction score of 85.4 points, ranking third in the file.
The three "head" films either convey the feelings of home and country through the history of the revolutionary war, or inspire people through the stories of small people in the big era, while the two films in the middle of the ranking but with a satisfaction score of more than 83 points, "This Killer Is Not Calm" and "Bear Haunting and Returning to Earth", have more "special" attributes for the Spring Festival that the whole family celebrates.
"This Killer Is Not Too Calm" is the only "pure" comedy genre film in the Spring Festival file where this year's more serious theme films converge, with a satisfaction score of 83.6 points. The spring festival family movie "Old Friends" and "Bear Haunting" series of new works "Bear Haunting Return to Earth" debuted with soft science fiction genre innovation, and the film satisfaction score was 83.3 points, an increase of 0.1 points over the previous series "Bear Haunting Wild Continent" released in 2021.
It is worth mentioning that for the first time in this year's Spring Festival, three popular animation IP movies were released, providing a richer choice for parent-child movies during the Spring Festival. Judging from the three major indexes of the schedule, the ornamental and ideological scores of the Spring Festival in 2022 were 86.2 points and 86.8 points, an increase of 0.7 points and 1.8 points respectively over the same period last year, indicating that the overall creative quality of the film during the file period was superior and the audience recognition was high. However, the spread of the schedule and head film has declined significantly year-on-year. From the perspective of the schedule, the spread score of the Spring Festival file in 2022 was 82.7 points, down 2 points year-on-year, ranking fifth among the seven Spring Festival stalls in the historical survey. From the perspective of representative films, compared with "Hello, Li Huanying", which ranked first in the three major indicators in the same period last year, the scores of "The Water Gate Bridge of Chosin Lake", which ranked first in ornamental and ideological terms, were 1.7 and 3.2 points higher, respectively, and the score of "Sniper", which ranked first in spread, dropped by 2.4 points from the first place last year. The decline in communication reflects the decline in the audience's enthusiasm for sharing and disseminating the film in the schedule, which is related to whether the audience can expand. The spread of the head film has declined, which directly inhibits the overall growth space of the schedule.
The elements that affect the degree of dissemination and the scale of the number of moviegoers are not the same, and the high ticket price of the Spring Festival in 2022 has become the target of public criticism. However, comprehensive data analysis shows that in the 2022 Spring Festival file, in the case of the head film is difficult to achieve the growth of the volume, the comedy film "This Killer Is Not Calm", which ranks fourth in the satisfaction evaluation, has achieved a relatively large decline in the number of moviegoers, and the fifth-ranked animation film "Bear Haunting And Return to Earth" not only achieved a reverse decline in the proportion of moviegoers during the file period, but also increased the total number of moviegoers by the sixth day of the first year compared with the previous work. It can be seen that ticket prices are not a fundamental factor affecting the demand for movies.
With the gradual maturity of the development of the Spring Festival file, the diversification of the supply of film types is the trend of the times, but on the background of family affection, the relaxed and happy content is still just needed in the schedule, and the space for this type of content selection in this year's Spring Festival file is very limited. The fit between the film type and the schedule is low, and the audience's sharing and enthusiasm for watching the film has decreased significantly.
