The "three-bar" digital meteor shower headlights are in the same vein as the S-class sedan, and the daytime running lights echo the tail 3D through-the-loop taillights. The body design has been optimized in terms of aerodynamics, breaking the world record for existing production vehicles with a drag coefficient of 0.20, and its effective air resistance area is as low as 0.5 square meters.
Inside, the new EQS is equipped with an AMG-inspired kit or an electric art kit that creates the ultimate in luxury with Nappa leather seats, diamond lattice stitching and pressure-sensitive buttons with Parisian stud embellishments. The rear seats can also be equipped with comfort components including shoulder and neck heating system, seat heating enhancement, hot stone massage effect and more. The 64-color ambient lighting system is equipped with 11 theme colors, and the exclusive fragrance , "Linen Mood No. 6" dates back to Mercedes-Benz's first electric car "Mercédès Electrique" in 1906. With a 5227 mm long and 3210 mm wheelbase, the new EQS has a luxurious rear legroom of nearly 1 metre.
The brand's first MBUX super-screen is a large curved screen with a width of 1.41 meters. Three high-definition screens up to 209 PPI resolution, of which the central control screen and co-pilot screen use OLED screens, and the 12 sensors below the screen can give the operator haptic feedback. The new EQS is equipped with an NVIDIA Xavier chip, with 8-core CPU, 24GB of storage and 46.4GB of memory bandwidth per second, ensuring the smooth operation of the new generation of MBUX intelligent human-computer interaction system. The Mind Reading Voice Assistant can recognize 27 languages and can voice query the performance information and the latest football and basketball event results in the city.
The new EQS uses the NCM811 ternary lithium battery, equipped with a power battery of up to 111.8 kWh, to achieve a maximum of 849 km of ultra-long endurance under CLTC conditions. Based on a 400-volt high-voltage battery system, the new EQS replenishes power from 10% to 80% in 48 minutes under 110 kW DC charging conditions and from 10% to 80% in up to 37 minutes under certain charging power conditions (charging power up to 145 kW). The new EQS is available in a variety of power versions with maximum power ratings of up to 380 kW and acceleration of up to 4.4 seconds from 100 km/h. The vehicle offers 4 driving modes and 3 energy recovery modes. The 4MATIC intelligent timely 4WD system can perform up to 10,000 on-wheel power monitoring per minute, and is equipped with air suspension to intelligently adjust the body height at different speeds. The standard rear wheel steering function has an angle of up to 4.5 degrees, which improves the handling and dynamic performance of the new EQS.
HePA hePA high-efficiency air filters, the 15-speaker Burmester Berlin Sound, and the L2-level Driver Assistance Component Enhancement (P20) all meet the multiple needs of car owners. As a leader in smart electric vehicles, the new EQS has created a new pure electric market segment.
