How to use car automatic cruise

Automobile automatic cruising technology, a feature that can only be possessed by luxury cars in the last century, is now "the former Wang XieTang Qianyan, flying into the homes of ordinary people". But I believe that many car owners only stay at the level of half-understanding of this function, and perhaps the car has not been used several times after buying it. So, today I will tell you some knowledge about the automatic cruise function of the car.

The first is fixed speed cruise (CCS), which is the most common. The usefulness of cruise control is that the owner can set a fixed speed and then maintain this speed all the time, which will be automatically operated by the electronic system when brakes are needed. This function is very good on highways with little traffic, but if it is too close to the vehicle in front or the traffic becomes larger, the owner needs to control the brakes himself.

An upgraded version of fixed-speed cruise, Adaptive Cruise (ACC), will also be more intelligent. On the basis of the cruise control function, the vehicle can not only maintain a constant speed all the time, but even after braking the adaptive cruise function can automatically restore the car to its original speed. In addition, adaptive cruise is equipped with a more accurate edge sweeping radar, which also provides a guarantee for the safety of the vehicle. It can be said that adaptive cruise already has the smell of automatic driving. As long as the vehicle keeps the route unchanged, acceleration and deceleration do not require manual operation. However, adaptive cruise is not yet able to accurately identify stationary objects.

There is also active cruising. The function of active cruising is that it can identify more diverse driving environments and assist the owner to complete the driving. However, this feature is currently only available in luxury brands.

Taking adaptive cruise as an example, this car cruise function is not suitable for use in all situations. For example, when the vehicle is turning, the front radar may not be able to detect the vehicle in front due to the angle problem, and the car will automatically accelerate to cause a rear-end accident. Adaptive cruises cannot also be used when urban roads are congested. In the face of such complex road conditions, the system does not have such a fast response speed, or honest manual operation. Also, don't use it in rain and snow, because in such bad weather conditions, the car's radar may be inaccurate.
